weight bench?

Saw the (new?) weight bench in the Atom shop. What exactly does it do? Is it worth the (free) caps?

+2 is nice but the way I play 30 minutes makes it kind of useless.

Majority of the various machine that give boost, in your CAMP, are handy at low level ... .

I still use the slot machine, the horse derby one and my piano ... !!!

Well Tuned and Lever's Embrace are all I usually run around with too. If we are gathered at someone's camp waiting to run an OP or Expo and they have them, I'll use the other machines, but I don't hunt them down.

It has been around for a long time. Allot of people used to build gyms and things in there camps and vaults. I have had several young kids on here ask me what it is and what is does. I told them it is the old fashioned why to get strong by working out.

^ I have a lil public gym right next to my basketball court. Along with the bonuses from the other camp items it can make a fun little boost while you play, especially if you're one among us players who despise unyielding armor. It's something like 30 seconds of using the object to get the bonus, so if you have all the equipment works out to something like 25 minutes of bonus stat for eating a piece of pizza while your toon sweats.

Of course if you don't have room in your camps...

I really appreciate you making this thread and pointing this out to me. I had been kind of ignoring the atom store lately but had been wanting some more of those stat increase machines. There's also the agility one, the speed bag, for a discount right now. As mentioned, they're not perfect since it takes time to get the buffs, but I like to apply them whenever I end up at someone's camp who has them and now I can set up some of my own.

You can get all if not most of the buff machines from Crater and Foundation gold bullion vendors. I'm currently saving up to get the slot machine so I can gamble away my caps.

There are now devices that buff every stat by 2, as well as the Well Tuned and Well Rested/Lovers Embrace.

Where's the gold guy at Crater? Or does it only unlock after you finish the heist that is completely bleeped up for me.

I really like the buffs the new season ally gives for nuka cola. I usually go for the cherry cola buff.

Yeah it might not show up until you do the heist. It will be a Mr Handy bot immediately to your left when you go to the Crater core.

Yup, if you haven’t completed the gold heist you cannot buy from Mortimer.
