Best Nuke Locations for Fluid/Mass Farming?
I've gotten pretty good at picking the best nuke spots for the various fluxes, but what are your best spots for enemy spawns to farm the hardened/glowing masses and hi-rad fluids?

(Also, as a call to the community, if you're lobbing nukes at Mine Shaft 2 for the new boss fight, please aim south to hit that forested mountain east of Striker Row - it's the second-best cobalt farm in the game, but most people just center it on the mine which leaves that farm just out of range.)

Back in the day Its used to be whitesprings , That is before they nerfed the spawn rates , Your best bet now is MorganTown and don't forget to team up with a few friends in discord or what not , so you and your freinds can jump out and back into the server to keep the spawns going

Back when ultracite ore used to spawn scorched the fissures around SBQ area were pretty good. I agree with Morgantown. Not sure if you can get morgantown trainyard and also bolton greens all inside the nuke zone. Been ages since i did a nuke.

best place is new mole "titan" fight. Drop bomb which covers boss fight area will do fine. there s...hit ton of molerats and moleniner spawn. each one carries hardened/glowing mass or high radiation fluid.
(being in a 4 man team(all there present) in that area will be better. bcz their kill gives loot for you too. this will rise your total mass/fluid amount)
edit: or you can use area damage weapons like tesla rifle+grenadier perk

Its generally easier to spend 50-250 caps to buy flux from bases than to bother crafting it yourself

That said if its still a move, bloatfly syringer https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Bloatfly_larva_syringe_barrel

The move here is shoot enemy, kill enemy, shoot fly, kill fly, repeat its like a good chance or something to get one to spawn... so if you are careful you can get a near infinite supply from one area and one monster

(I know a hacked version spawns hundreds of flies from one body, and they had the ability to 'pocket' enemies and drop them on the map for a while too...) which are both ultra annoying

there is a video on youtbe where the guy farms high radiation fluid/ glowing mass/ hardened mass inside West Tech.

This should not be possible but he explains when you nuke the middle of the Map Enemies in inside Areas spawn the Stablizers.

Interesting. That combined with the elevator glitch inside West Tek would mean basically unlimited flux crafting materials. I might need to try this out one day.

Yep. I used to craft tons myself. I still do from time to time, but usually don't bother these days and just buy it when i find it for under 150 caps in player vendors.

Found the video, I give a short description and link:

"The Fastest Way to Stabilize Flux - Fallout 76", 14min, by youtuber MrWestTek.
In the first 40sec. he explains wich Area to nuke, then he shows the farming itself...

Seems his nuked Area (at sec. 33) includes the Mapmarkers of White Powder/ Cliff Watch/ 98NAR and a part of the Top of the World mapsymbol.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FymPFCCgN4E&t=210s

I've never heard of this before, maybe a temporary effect tht vanishes with the next update?

I have plenty of spares in case you don't have the blessings of RNGeesus in finding those plans.

Awesome thanks :) Might take you up on that if the next couple of days fail.

*THANK YOU!!!* for sharing this. I tried it this evening and it worked. Once the nuke hit I fast-traveled to WestTek and all of the mutants and mutant hounds inside were dropping fluids and masses like it was a laxative testing lab. Also visited the mezzanine level of Top of the World and the scorched there were also droppin' it like it was hot. I'm set for a good while on this character and I have something to do for my second character tomorrow.

I think they fixed this. Had a friend who used to do it and give me flux all the time, seems it did not work about 2 or 3 months ago. Not sure.

Just checked it - it no longer works. You still see the 'zone irradiated' marker on your compass when in an interior space but the creatures are all non-irradiated and don't drop any special masses/fluids.
A side note:

Did farm alot in the old days to get all kind of stable Flux. But at the end? It is not worth it al all.

Did start join a few trading groups on FaceBook and i notice i can trade g-roll weapons for tons of stable Flux.

I will never ever farm for it again, have now a sh*tload of all kind of stable Flux thanks to trading groups.

My point? There are better ways to get all kind of stable Flux then farm for it. Trust me... been there, done that but never ever i gonna farm for it.
