Is this cheat or am I missing something?
A bit of reason story before going into it, I have a Camp at the Ski Resort area for Lead farming and having the very short distance to vendor to sell my fruits and waters. Then this f... face guy drops the nuke for Colassol Event aiming it very good so it both hits the Monongah Mine and my Camp (f you bethesda for putting the Lead farm in there too).

He was obviously a toxic btch so I got mad and teleported to his camp and started shooting, yet when the healthbar of camp items drops to almost 0, it shows a shield icon and everything regenerates back to full health.

Then I found him on the map and started shooting, yet there was no damage to him at all. and yes I was turned off Passive mode before doing all this.

In the past a guy was just going on rampage by killing everyone, I had my Passive mode On yet it didn't matter because from my understanding it only prevents "you" "accidentally" damage other players, doesn't protect you from people doing PvP.

So how come neither this guy nor his camp items got no damage at all? Here is the video I recorded so you can better see the situation, am I doing something wrong or is he actually using god mode cheat?

https://youtu.be/BWS2d2HmYcY

Oh and, just yesterday I was at someone's Camp to check his vendor, then saw these zombies attacking his camp and I was killed them. But my weapon has explosive bullets so they were damaged his camp a bit and I was got Wanted. And this was happened despite my Passive Mode was On. So how come this b...'s camp gets no damage and he himself gets no damage either when I had my Passive Mode Off?

Help me out in here because I'm really confused...

That nuke circle placement is fairly common, it allows players to exit the mine and be in clear space A.S.A.P (not everyone has a rad option).

You were unfortunate. I don't see malicious intent here (but who really knows but the launcher).

This is why nukes as a boss trigger suck. The actual danger zone is roughly twice the circumference of a single nuke as the trigger location only needs to clip the zone not be a direct target.

I usually see it down a little further so the train station is out of the nuke zone. But ya, not intentional to hit that camp.

The mine is a tricky location to nuke because the trigger radius is rather small. Miss the mine by not much and it won’t happen. Unlike the queen where I have seen fissure prime well outside the nuke zone and it still triggered.

reading that shows your not fully understanding the pvp/base killing aspect of the game. you shooting him wont do anything as seen in the clip it's only if he hits you back but since your wanted he has to shoot you first for you to be able to kill him back.. and only way to destroy someones base well there is 2 way's the none toxic way (have them shoot you and you target there base if your close to it at the time.) Toxic way (place a s small base with rocket turrets on and have a friend shoot you for pvp flag get them turrets to shoot your friend and he jumps around that players base leading the rockets to blow his base up.) but option 2 leads to greifing and being reported and chance of ban if the devs care to.

Well yeah I don't do PvP so... But thank you very much for explaining :) I don't devs would care about it though as it's not exactly a glitch but you never know bethesda .. They ban people for reporting bugs too....

agreed i reported cheater with video proof of there inventory off hacked items and they are still playing today same account. so it's weird how they pick to ban people..

You 2 are f...ing kidding with me right? There are at least 3 other ways you can drop that nuke to avoid radiation when you exit.

https://i.imgur.com/fyJw387.jpg

I drew those circles with the same radius of nuke zone. All 3 can quite easily avoid destroying my base.

Furthermore, if you don't wanna deal with the radiation, once that 3 headed monster dies, you can just loot everyone in a matter of 2 seconds max, then start escaping the mine. Even with overcrumbed, you will have more than enough time to take a rad-x/rad-x diluted and a radaway. So don't be greedy to stay until the very last second just for 20 more Wendigo Teeth.

If you can't do that either, don't bother escaping the mine, once it collapse you get teleported away from nuked area and still get all the rewards anyway. I might be wrong in here but as far as I know there is no disadvantage of not escaping the mine.

Addition to that, you should avoid hitting the vendor instead so you can go and drop your loot there, if you don't have a camp nearby or don't have fallout 1st to drop a survival tent.

And as a personal opinion, that is the most difficult event I have ever seen and between SQB and Seismic Activity, Colassol Problem always have the least people comparing to those 2. So I'm honestly wondering, why the heck would want to waste the nuke on the least popular event to begin with? Seriously does it give you anything bonus that SQB and Seismic doesn't do? Plus, SQB area is almost always having a 1 star SB spawn as well which you can easily kill to get an extra legendary, so really, why would anyone ever bother with that 3 headed hydralike abomination?? Better call Agent Coulson on that...
Snowie

Sometimes the servers take a minute to register the base isn't damageable, its more common seeing it with camp pets (and indeed if you are rocking certain railways you can delete a camp pet killing it before the game throws on protection for it... on slower servers)

Otherwise when you see a players base take damage, you are either hitting a vehicle or something that can be damaged, or the servers being slow.

Unless active PvP is going (and their are some missile base griefs you can use to damage bases... one of those 4 year old bugs not addressed)

For you taking damage, all traps are able to damage everyone... its why players will glitch 5000 traps together so the damage is applied all at once (my assassins hellcat PA pvp build can tank it so I'd assume any overeaters pa could too)

You probably haven't EVER launched a nuke

The screen you see when you launch a nuke IS NOT your regular map screen, its a different map that lacks details such as player camps... its not impossible to nuke to hit player camps but its 99% that they fired the nuke at their typical spot (they figured out where to launch and leave an exit and its not a given that trying another would be as good)

Generally when you hear a nuke launch, open your map figure out where its headed and if necessary switch your camp or server hop to avoid the fallout
For those looking for easy lead, let me help you out. There's a couple locations that no one will be able to scavenge the lead so is only for you. Decent amount too. Of course everyone and their grandma go to the publicly open locations to grab the lead (such as from the Charleston fire station) So getting lead from there is just a luck of the draw.

For lead (weights) locations only open to you go to:
1. Orwell Orchards. (You go here as part of the Brotherhood questline. You may need to do that quest to gain access.). There's a bunker accessed tthrough the main house basement.
2. Vault-Tec University. (You go here as part of the main Overseer questline. You may need to do that quest to gain access.). There's two locations here. In the left building you have access to a test vault. Go all the way down to the atrium to find a gym. In the center building you will find a gym in the hallway on the right.
3. Fort Atlas. You will need to do a small Brotherhood quest to get access to the main facility. In the atrium on the left you will find a single weight.

The beauty of these is that they are player locked. Meaning you can join with a team mate (Leader) or Solo. In both instances you will find lead. So you could go in with a friend and get double the yield.

For damaged crops, just scrap them and put them back (one by one) ... .

You almost had me doubted myself, almost...

Here have a look at this pic, took it from "the screen I see when I launch a nuke".
https://i.imgur.com/H1LEMSt.png -- Clearly shows the player camp. Moved my mouse over it just in case you are suffering from white color blindness...

https://i.imgur.com/evr1tip.png -- Very clearly shows the player camps, again. Just in case circled them with red color so you can see....

https://i.imgur.com/GtopPvJ.png -- Oh look another one. Just for a screenshot purpose, I clicked near it once, and see, it clearly shows the blast zone and clearly shows the camp will get annihilated if I "Confirm" the launch!

So, Phantom, about that thingy you said, "You probably haven't EVER launched a nuke", I'm gonna quote you from the Virgil the Green Hulk Super Mutant; "DON'T, BULLS..., ME !!!"

True, perhaps just getting the weights from these places instead of waiting for Lead Resource to fill up 14 lead scraps every once is a better idea to farm lead.

Thank you very much for your help :))

Oh neat that is new, I didn't know that.

When I used to bother launching nukes they never showed player bases

or maybe its some toggle? I've launched a tonne back in the day and never saw player bases on mine

This is what we used to see

Mind that getting lead from these places will be heavy as there are no work stations where you can scrap the lead nearby. Equip the perk that lowers weight for junk and such to make sure you can walk out of there. Also you can get lead from tin cans. Not everyone knows that. So the cans on a string that act as an alert for enemies are a decent source of lead too. Of course getting lead from workshops is good too, but I find it's a tad too slow and getting the lead from the locations I mentioned is more than enough for a daily session for me and I have lead to spare after too.
you suspect someone of being a "toxic" b1tch
block them
be done with them

do not waste your time with what you suspect gives you a bad time
@MissSnowie do you still need lead or other mats if so i could give you a handful of mats. i have alot and don't play as much as i used to now.. just log in for some pvp and then log out lol
Same here. If you need any materials to rebuild or anything let me know. Been playing for a long time and having scrap box was meant to be mainly so i could help others out as i have everything i need.
