By repeatedly clicking the same button that does reload which I have moved to middle-mouse. and you get rads for just collecting water.
But the water cooler plan came with the large wrap.
That gives you boiled water. Some things require purified water.

Also has some tips for event.
@beagle I was answering @Traveler's question on how to get more dirty water faster than collecting from a pump. :)
Now sure why but there are 2 versions of the same plan for the vintage water cooler. I had the same in one of the previous events. I was looking at it built in my camp and it was in my pipboy saying it was unknown.
No point learning what you know already, sell it for some decent caps or give it to another character if you have one.
Also it might not be for everyone of course and I don't know do you want it mostly for decorative reasons or do you purely want lots of purified waters, if it's the second one, industrial water purifier might be more efficient. Although it requires a water to build, it generates quite fast and holds more purified waters inside. So like you can build 10 of them and play the game for a while. When you return to your camp you will get 50 purified waters :D
EDIT. Craft the gifts in ammo workbench, they are under gifts menu and require adhesive. Also buff up your charisma and barter when buying the wraps, they reset if you server hop so you can farm them until you run out of caps. :)
From any of the train station vendor bots under the misc section. You then craft them at the tinkers bench under the gifts section.
Vintage water cooler is better and more efficient in terms of space than the industrial ones. Doesn't require power, is far smaller and can be put almost anywhere unlike the industrial ones being huge, ugly and needing to be placed in water and are noisy.
Oh thank you so much :))
But the Industrial Purifier making faster, vintage is 24 per hour and holds 2 water, industrial is 60 per hour and holds 5 water. It's quite easy to power them with fusion reactor too but if you wish to build heavy laser turrets for defense you might need to make a second fusion reactor as well.
It's efficencieny depends on the situation to be honest. If you wish to have a nicey happy camp and want some water while at it, vintage purifier a better option. But if you wish to farm so much water for selling to vendors to get 1400 caps every day, industrial is a better option. Although 15 Charisma + Hard Bargain + Turbo Fert Fertilizer + Greenthumb + a camp full of tomatoes is far better option if you purely aim to make 1400 caps everyday. It's a bit tedious but 2 or 3 times harvest can easily get you 1400 caps.
Purified Waters can be put for player vendor sales but people very rarely buys them. I had 200 of them from my industrials and each for 1 caps, no one bought any for a week lol :D ended up just selling them to npc vendor.
