Luck of the draw
I'm trying to make a demo expert build so I use explosive weapons which seem to degrade quickly (broadsider) - does luck of the draw actually help so I don't have to use my very few repair kits?

i tried to use these two perks in the past for both weapons and armor and even at max level it barely ever triggers. i didn't notice the slightest difference in my gear's durability. utter trash perks.
there is way better stuff under luck anyway, especially when running with bloodied stealth commando.

Just repair the weapons at a workbench.

try to do more boss fights. they usually drop free repair kits as well.
my commando has more than 100 free improved repair kits on hand and i didn't repair stuff at workbenches in 6 or 9 months or whatever.

but gunsmith perk seems to help a lot with gun durability.

luck of the draw is a mess

if you want to ultimate test it then go with the chainsaw (it activates faster because V Fast)
70% healthbar on my chainsaw
luck of the draw at 3
it activates but it's back to 70%
someone else can surely explain this better with math, but it's been years now this card is just a waste

yup, "luck of the darw" is not worth it, I use it sometimes when camping in Rad rumble (replaces my Serendipity perk), doesn't do much.

But Gunsmith is very effectiv and highly recommnded for Energy Guns, should work for other guns too.

Scout's Banner can activate a perk that repairs your guns wich seems to be more effective.

Or have a 2nd gun that you can switch too if your 1st breaks, later repair everything to 200%

But as "Meister_Leuchte" says: Repair Kits from Boss events are most convienient :)

I have 2 out of 3 in the Luck of the draw card and it prolongs the endurance of a weapon somewhat. Since its RNG its not reliable, but its felt. In high intense OPs and Events it doesnt matter, because you just shoot too much. I use heavy weapons but i assume Fixers and Handmades suffers the same.

Workbench repair costs scrap, not repair kits.

To end my year on a negative I'm going to say this: With the paid option of Scout Banners providing a RNG based 10% repair (It is really strong in usage) it would not surprise me at all if the free repair option has been stealth nerfed.

The same thing happened when repair kits were first introduced and now we have an option that doesn't even (yet) have an in-game equivalent... I like cows and milking but Bethesda/Microsoft is proving their corporate greed at the expense of good game play.

That free upcoming PS+ deal? Just so Microsoft can say "We share" to help the Blizzard/Activision deal. They (MS) are on record as showing FO76 is considered a niche product to them.
