You throw them away.
What is the point to save them only to run out of script before you even play the next day?
Think about it, you are basically starting "in debt" every day and only pushing the pile farther down the road until you get to the point you throw them away anyways.
If you are playing again tomorrow then there is no point starting from behind the 8 ball unable to do your scrip yet again and still having a full stash as you are getting even more legendaries while playing.
Also could start a second character and give excess legendary items for scrip to them.
Loose power armour parts weigh a ton. Keep some empty power armour frames in your stash to put loose PA pieces for scrip on them. They will always weigh 10 lbs even if they are full of PA pieces. You can name them something like Scrip PA 1, Scrip PA 2 and so on. A full set of 3 star parts will be 225 scrip for the cost of only 10 lbs weight. Handy to have for the days when you are too busy and cannot play for long but want to get some scrip done.
But then what do you do with the ones you collect tomorrow from playing, when you have just used up all your scrip from the legendaries you held from yesterday? It never ends. If you want to have a permanently full stash this is the way to go.
Try to manage your reserves (stash box) with those who weight less then 1 pound (or whatever ... !)
Take a look on the "Fallout 76/Communauty Calendar" for the next "Double Script" week-end ... .
Yep, as i mentioned above this is a great tip that many players either don't realise or forget.
5 legendary pieces at 45 each is 225 scrip for only 10 lbs weight in the stash.
Thing that happens to me though is i end up with a heap of just left legs after a play session, which you cannot put on the one frame.
