Nobody sees the specific name you gave your character except in extremely specific instances.
So no matter what character I am playing, all anyone sees above my head is Bizarreman.
p.s. you had to link your steam to bethesda in order to change the displayed name.
p.s.s. once created, account name on bethesda website cannot be changed in the account settings, manually, at least.
Every 90 days you can log in to bethesda.net using your email address linked to Steam, go in to account details and change the display name.
People will see that. It can be almost anything that isn’t objectionable.
