Pacifist mode only screws you over when PvP actually happens. lol
With it off, you're still basically a Pacifist anyways in that outside of specific incidents such as Workshops, no one can attack you unless you attack them first.
So there is really no reason to have Pacifist mode on.
Really outside of Workshops, the only time people target you is if you have a Wanted bounty.
Either light up your lightsaber or get out of the Cantina.
The player killed you to take over your workstation and your loot.
Workstations are pvp zones so if you don’t want to die to another player stay out.
Who are they winning against on a private server?
There really isn't any need in claiming a Workshop outside of completing the Daily Challenges... and once you do you can just immediately leave the vicinity and if someone takes it... It's no big deal, you've already got the Daily completed and got the S.C.O.R.E. EXP.
I've never seen a need or desire to try out the private servers nor maintain a workshop. In terms of ores, you can run around the Ash Heap and get the ores just as fast or faster.
That been said, once you know how to deal with a workshop, never have junk with you, always crouch in the area (make you invisible on map), don't stay there for a long time ... , you can give it another try ... .
Except workstations are a piss poor place to farm things. There are much better alternatives and knowledge to that is literally a google click away.
It is a violation to post other peoples tags or names on Steam and you will probably be banned if you do not remove it. Notice, I had to remove it myself in this post or I would have been banned.
