Out of the Blue Bugged... Still

Aries didn't open the secret passage for some reason. He went through the motions, but the door didn't open, quest progress is impossible.

Considering this is a main quest, and I've encountered similar glitches in other MAIN quests, this game is broken, and Bethesda just doesn't care.

Yep, I had already gone through the area that the password and such to open the room to get whatever it is I need to weaken the vines before he tried to open the door to the campsite, and had read the notes about the password, but after actually needing to get it open the notes are no longer in my inventory, and it isn't letting me read them again after changing servers (or at least logging out and back in, not totally sure the server changed)
