Anyone with a Scout Mask?

Does anyone have a Scout mask they'd be willing to part with? I want one but My research has told me they're basically unobtainable. I know the it has -2 PER but it looks cool as hell.

Sounds like your lucky they aren't too obtainable. Better to keep the 2 per. There's other cool stuff in the game to wear anyway. Good luck anyways.

My forest scout mask has no SPECIALS on it. No headwear do, as far as i know.

I want one weather its unique or not. I got the Vault 94 version and its covered in Strangler Vines and leaves. I want a clean normal one, any pattern.

afaik the Scout Masks work as Gas Masks, these used to have a -2 Perception Penalty but this was removed 3 years ago(?)

But Scout mask has at least 3 Version: urban, forrest and covert.

Plan for "Covert Scout Armor mask" should be obtainable from Daily Ops or Minerva (inventory 15 and 16, says wiki)

Just get the Covert Scout Mask. You can apply all scout armor paint jobs to it.

I have my doubts that anyone would part with an Urban or Forest Scout Mask that they have legitimately obtained. The Covert Scout Mask looks better anyway, and the Urban or Forest Scout Mask is more for 'rarity flexing' than anything else in my opinion.

How regularly does Minerva have the Covert one in stock?

Minerva has a schedule, if you have access to the internet youcan find detiled information.

After 3 or 4 smaller inventories her next inventory combines the previous, hence called "Super Sale".

inventory 15 and 16 are the ones you are looking for.

But the mask is overly expensive (1650 Gold Bullions?), so you should still try to obtain it via daily OPS (join team, there are plenty dhortly after the 24h reset).

And check on the Armor workbench under "Covert Scout", maybe you've alreay learned the plan without paying attention.

Alternative: BOS Recon Helmet has a full mask, looks very cool, though it can only be crafted and not traded; the Plan you get from the same sources.

Alternatives could be helmets that have a full facecover or integrated gas mask:
-Sentry Bot-, Assaultron- or Eyebot Helmet (can be build after scrapping robo parts)
-BOS Recon Helmet
-Marine Armor Helmet or Arctic Marine Armor Helmet
-Tactial Marine Helmet
-Reclaimed Deep Mining Gas Mask
-Assault Gas Mask
- Fire Man Helmet (Varitions are Fire Breather- and Responder Fireman Helmet)


However, the genuine forrest/ urban Scout Mask was available from enclave events, but this changed to events in the savage Divide.
Even more confusing: if this happen you get 1 forrest and 1 urban Scout Mask.
(happened to me and I didn't understand how I suddenly had 2 masks in inventory, but other users report the same. But I play a lot, so the chances being lower then 0,1% seems plausibel)

Do you have the responders firefighter helmet? I've been trying to get it for ages and have had no luck. I have a few rare plans and outfits I'd be willing to trade for. I have the scout mask from daily ops I'd be willing to trade you for the helmet (not sure if the mask is tradeable or not)

I have an urban scout mask on two different characters. The question is what do you have to offer for it?

Your best bet is doing DO's for the covert scout mask plan or waiting for Minerva to be selling it
