Servers are down?

Can't log in and am getting error code 4:8:0. Searched online and it seems servers are down and players are experiencing a Lot of log in failure.

If they’re switching to MS Azure servers it would be awesome if they let me merge my old console account into my PC one (still using via MS Gamepass, not through steam). I have a lot of progress on that account I can’t use on pc for obvious reasons that I’d like to, season stuff etc. It’s wishful thinking of course but would be nice to be able to place the season maps I finished in my camp before I switched to pc.

My guy it literally says the servers will be going down for maintenance on the main menu when you start the game up and its said the day of and the time for the past 2 days on the main menu of the game. Don't get mad just cause you cant read.

It's the same time every week, and it's posted in the main menu of the game for a couple days before in the little news box on the top right of the screen.

You know that thing that pops up (but nobody really reads) in the main meny, before you can log in to your character? Yeah.. prolonged maintanence has been announced since FRIDAY..

I got a message in the top right corner of the log-in screen that they were doing updates today at 10am CET.

Looks like 4.25 hours, not 10... most of the Eastern zone is on Eastern Daylight Time (same as Atlantic Standard Time), which is 4 hours behind UTC. Maintenance started at 14:00 UTC, and it's now 18:15 UTC. (I just wish they'd use UTC rather than ET, since ET alternates between EST and AST...)
