Power Fist

Are there any known mods for the power fist? I'm trying for a decent damage medium speed and fairly light weight weapon for melee and this seems to fit the bill for 4 pounds although its closer then I wanted to fight. I like the spear but damage is kind of low. Any suggestions on weapon types?

I dont want to go knife, you get mobbed I kind of count on 3 hits to take one down. Any more then that and they shoot or yell and it brings on more. Other wise I can usually hide. You lucky on the scorch beast maybe. I wound not want to try it with a switchblade!!!

i just anticipate more on the legendary perks
like explosions on mobs

**Twisted muscles SEVERELY lowers accuracy, so as Mooman said it locks *most* ranged weapons. To note some things will still be available at no noticeable deficit, such as running a sniper build alongside the melee but ONLY using an enclave or regular plasma flamer. I have Twisted Muscles and I don't even bother with guns beyond my "pew-pew" pistol as wasting 2/3 bullets would just be masochistic.

Something to note with mutations is whatever you do don't get Plague Walker.

There's some bug with it if you try to stack too many dot or aoe damage.

On my melee character I tried a max bleed build, thorn armour, talons mutation and bladed gauntlet. The build wasn't great but did ok as I now understand from mostly explosive palm and hack and slash legendary perks.

Always noticed much better damage with non bleed weapons but couldn't figure out why. Recently scrubbed most of my mutations to get rid of things like plague walker and unstable isotope. With plague walker gone my gauntlet was hitting much harder.

Plague Walker was either bugging the bleed effect or one too many sources of damage the game couldn't deal with.

I don't know much about the various mutations yet, but the ones that are bugged they seem to be slow to correct. I have 1 nukashine from the quest and some Quantrums but not a lot. Also have some of the regulars but not sure of the number as they are in stash.

Well, I have a couple of other players on friends list and have never had this new issue. I received your friend request and was not able to accept. It had both options on it marked as "accept friend request," and also "ignore friend request" and woudnt allow change or acceptance because of both. I accidently lost it but it did allow me to send you a request afterward so hopefully you will get it and be able to accept. All pretty crazy!!

I like to get instigating for the powerfist with the heating element. Its quick and you can take 3/4 of the health of a lvl 100 supermutant. I run right thru west tek with it. Good thing is you dont even have to be low health to do that damage. I'm sure a bloodied would be a close contender, but Idk if you could one shot a mutie with bloodied. (havnt got a drop yet).
