After several seasons you'll have hundreds of dollars of digital items free, just costing a time commitment. If you wait most things will be cheaper on sale too.
The fact you want something enough to argue the price is the proof the model works. Be patient young Padawan.
It is the company that invented horse armor DLC.
Trust me, my fellow 76er; Just play.
Seems the pricing in F76 is in line with that baseline for many of its skins and cheaper for many others.
If you are into cosmetics I would say wait for package deals and items about to be cycled out of the store as they are usually offered at a discount.
i spent my atoms on neat camp stuff mostly, i wasted alot on the vault peices and not really alot of players go into vaults cause its outside the normal world. so that was a bummer, but one of my favorite was the red rocket buildling, and slocum joes donunts
also the glass walls and roofs are a fun one worth spending atoms on.
Out of gaming lol. I've been gaming for over 37 years. I don't really play a lot online games or mmo's etc. I have played ESO for a bit but after a thousand hours, I got burnt.
I don't mind spending money for the subscription service but all the other stuff is high way robbery. I will just unlock whatever I can through playing the game and doing the challenges etc. But not spending 10 bucks for the color blue.
i mean idk why you keep quoting eso... like any skin or pet was cheap there....
the average pet... was 3k crowns.... 750 crowns is 7.99 i mean.....
most skins were 500 ( for the usleess ones ) to 700 for low end 1000 for mid range and 1200 for high end.... it was still at least 10$ PER item... if not 20 for most of the higher teir NOT even encluding armor packs.. those start 1500 and go up tot 4000
btw currentt skin dye (blood forged ) in eso... is 1200 crown...
and UNLIKE eso you can aquire the in g ame currency by completing achivements
you should be use to seeign skins at those prices.....
They market this stuff for kids who don't know better, parents get it for kids so the kids shut up an stop begging, im sure you remember crying your eye's out for ninja turtle or g.i. joe, maybe you wanted that polly pocket.
Todays scary cause these kids aren't even getting physically tangible objects, instead its over priced data junk. Thinks like fornite skins for 20 dollars a pop are part of the economic blunder thats fallen over the world.
Even then parents aren't really buying the stuff, not to the extent the companies claim, because alot of these video game companies channel the money they profit from back into deceiving the financial lenders they get loans from.
All the bots an fake accounts your see in these games saying they 100's of millions of players is just not legitimet, we have a seen the incompetence of the tech sector, and the inablity for them to handle new games with huge loads of players that don't even reach 100k players.
So company like blizzard/activision doens't have million people playing WOW or COD,
And steam certainly does not have 500,000 csgo players the legitimate reality is that numbers are fudged to make it look good for investors.
Fallout 76 was already scammed an bought out by microsoft so its no longer really realtivant. we just have to behappy they are updating anything on this game. that we are getting free atoms from scoreboard an game achivements and that they have added a little more story an npcs to the game.
Buyer beware is the new 2020 century of gaming. we are told things are good an popular , but reality is steam will lie to you to sell you a 30 year old game, or a really dull an boring game. Such as "Stray" where cat enthusits become a cat and wander a neo Tokyo city scape. "Stray" didn't last 2 weeks, and what happend to the 100k players they had? down to less then 5k and off the steam top 100? Go figure.
They do this with all the games. So just be happy this game has some activity and isn't really a facade, we where all told this game sucks, but many of us found enjoyment an 1000's of hours of game play in fallout 76 so take it with a little salt, sprinkle it on what tastes bad, cause most of the games today are just total garbage and over priced.
Stir clear of paying for addition content on games , skins, items , and if you can't earn them in the game, don't worry about it. The whole Mobile sale scam has caused this industry to become completely greedy trying to over charge players that don't know any better for nothing.
teach your kids and teach yourself what online gaming is today.
