QQ I'm looking into getting this game, is the deluxe edition content worth it, or should I go with the regular edition?

deluxe edition is if you want to pay extra money for VERY minor cosmetic content that you CAN obtain for free using atoms in game anyway (you get like 10,000-50,000 free depending on how much you complete)

The base version is the game + everything

the two 'dlcs' are cosmetic stuff

The current 'deluxe' edition is only if you really love the Brotherhood of Steel and want some themed cosmetics.

The language around the game is confusing. Updates (what is normally referred to as DLC or expansions) are free but DLC are only cosmetics.

depends on what you wanna rp as, if you're a brotherhood fan i say go for it
if you're enclave then no option for that sadly, can only buy atoms&wait for teh items to arrive or simply get atoms and ask on customer support for them to add the items

If you're referring to the Recruitment Bundle that ☂♡ˢᵐⁱⁿ ❱❱❱ linked as the "deluxe edition," don't get it.

When it came out it was panned by the playerbase for costing so much for something so little (And lackluster). If it happens to be on sale then it is a hard maybe. But otherwise, just buy the base game since every DLC and content addition was and will be added for free ie Wastelanders, Steel Dawn/Reign, etc.

Anyone know if the deluxe edition is 1 bundled CD key or 2 separate keys (1 for base, 1 for cosmetics)? I have the base game and I'm thinking of getting it for a friend. but I'd love to pick up the BoS cosmetics for less than $12.

for 12 bucks just buy it an make a new steam account for it on a sepreate computer, you can just 10 x your inventory space and no need for fallout 1st if you log your own second account as storage.
