How I'm getting more skill cards?

I'm playing as melee. Sadly i've maxed strength at the beginning and now, with level 46, I don't have most of the good skills.

At level 50 all remaining cards you do not have available now will be available for you to activate as you gain more perk points when leveling up.

Also, at level 50 you can move SPECIAL points around at no cost.

Plus, starting at level 50 you will have Legendary Perk Card slots become available. You get one new slot for every 50 levels up to level 300. To place Legendary cards it costs Perk Coins that you get from scrapping unwanted regular Perk cards.

You will want to either use a yellow Punch Card machine at any train station or build one in your Camp in order to place Legendary cards or move your SPECIAL points around.

A couple of corrections to ronr42’s statement.

Beginning at level 25, you can use the punch card machine at any train station, or at your camp to move special points with no cost.

First legendary perk card unlocks before level 50.

Ok, I really thought and still do that you can't move SPECIAL points until level 50.

Guess I need to use Google. Thought the first Legendary slot becomes available at level 50. I was way beyond that when the Legendary cards were added to the game.

I’ve been playing since launch so I get confused on what was then and what is now on occasion.

double xp weekend rn
lvl-up nonstop
after 50 all cards are able to be chosen

now's the time to lvl up like mad

The other thing that catches levelling players out sometimes is you can pick a card from any special not just the one you add a point to.

Look at the bottom of the UI and there should be the option to pick another category, Z and C off memory.

You do need to spend the levelups or it won't unlock the higher level cards
