Where is the Weight Bench?

I accidentally deleted this from my camp last year and I have been unable to find it so I can put it back in.

Things shouldn't be this hard to find but after countless hours I give up. I have searched the internet and where people say it is, Floor Decor or Misc. Structures, it isn't there. When I go into the store it says I own it...

The objects have been a mess for a while so yeah i don't beat yourself up over it as seems things that shouldn't be labeled as such gets put into strange areas. It should be in the misc if you really can't see it start doing the right arrow on objects and you should find anything you want that way too.

Mostly cause we shouldn't of have to + many new item get added all the time someone would also have to decate they life of spending atoms just to keep the list up to date for others as well as have all the older items from the past so that the list is complete.

Many games that let you build don't make finding what you want hard like this game does. it was nice that they added the new tab but at the end of the day that doesn't fully fix the problem they created its just a band aid on the problem.

Not possible to make an accurate list of exactly where an item is in any of the build menus categories. Best you could do is list what menu has the item, floor, wall or misc.

As for where exactly a floor decoration shows up in relation to what is above or below it, it's not the same for everyone. Found that out once when a friend was trying to tell me exactly where a piece of furniture was by saying what was above and below it. When I found the item in my build menu it was no where near where it was in his build menu under the chair category.

It actually wouldn't be too hard. Basically just have a list of each base category, and then lump all items together that show up in the same selection under that category. That way, you could Ctrl+F it, and see what items are next to (left/right, since that's the same for everyone), and recognize the items in that list you have and search the up/down list in that category for one of those.

So like in this case, you search for the weight bench, see that it's in the Misc category in the same chunk as the speed bag, then go look for the speed bag or another item in the chunk you know you have.

It was too long ago to remember which chair it was. It definitely was one of the chairs from the Atomic shop.

Having two accounts to test it probably won't work. My friend also has two accounts and according to him, all items list the same on both accounts.

It's not the regular game items you find Plans for that don't list the same for everyone. It's the added items from the Seasons and Atomic shop that are somewhat randomly thrown into the build menus listings. They appear the same for everyone under their main categories, like all chairs are under chairs. It's when you scroll down to find one chair or whatever that they do not always appear in the same order.

I know what you mean, the up/down order can be different. I'm talking about the left/right order "chunks" of items that lumped together. That's why if you sorted them out that way, you could locate it by find the item up/down that's in the same chunk left/right that you know you have or can recognize. The toughest part with navigating it is have to go left/right in each thing instead of being able to see everything in an up/down list.

I'm honestly surprised Beth hasn't condensed the items yet into the same chunks, because it'd be easier than the way it is now. Like all chairs, all tables, all signs, all posters, etc. Instead of having like 4 sets of chairs

Edit: Or hell, just adding a text search function. Looks like they're adding a floating camera build mode in the Pitt so you don't have to run around. So they are willing to make semi-large alterations to build mode

LOL, yeah, Beth could at least post a list of what main category all items appear under BUT, then they would have to explain why some items appear under Misc Structures when they are actually a Floor item, like all the Tubes and some of the Fasnacht items that are Wall Decor..

i have asked multiple times to Builders: is there somewhere a reference to know where what is
we've been asking for that ourselves

i mean musical instruments under Chairs...
those should be under ENHANCEMENTS Tab
like together with anything beds (which provide xp), allies, maybe even crafting
any object giving boosts should get something like a special color maybe ...

a complete re haul is needed

of course new players will go "erm what?" when you tell them just to have an ally in your camp

blueprint a simple structure with all your necessary bits and bobs
or a simple shelter
