So I checked, as far as I could without a twitter account.Twitter said check the Bethesda.net Status Portal. I checked; nothing. Am I completely blind or does it nowhere state for how long this will last?

They did say in the news pop up when you launch the game that they were bring the game down to add the updates/new season online today after all thats the end of the old season.

I looked and yep still says

So still down.

Yes, I know, II read that already. But nothing about any predicted time it will be finished. As far as my history goes with mmo's; the've always had a supposed time when the maintenance would be finished.

They don't give out predicted time cause if they did and say they went over maybe you and others would get upset that they gave a time and didn't even open the game at the time they gave. So to avoid upsetting people and getting they hopes up they never give times.

they probably don't know with progress bars being what they are. whenever i see any kind of progress bar the time estimates go from 444 days to 4 hours to 2 hours to 5 hours and so on. But the download and install usually takes about 20 min.

so in short, we will know when they do.

The devs don't give a estimated time because they don't want people to call them liars when the deadline isn't met. Relax go out and get a coffee or something. My sympathies if this happens to be your only free-time.

Just do what i do check every hour that's if you're that eager to get into the game. normally they take it down for 35 mins up to 2 hour but, seems today update might head into 3 hours or longer range what isn't common of them to do so, i guess they having big problems this time around.

Nah, after work I've normally got plenty of time in the evening. Only a bit annoyed as I was home early today and found out it was still under maintenance.
