This, or they are saved as blueprints.
What you can do is break down the stored structure and it will dump all the floors, walls, ceilings, stuff into the stored tab and you can then build using them first before crafting new ones.
I managed to find a spot that it fit, now I'm just hoping it isn't as popular as my last one. Especially considering the servers keep lagging and disconnecting me.
I did this the moment I figured out how to make them, so now if I ever wanna pack up and go settle somewhere else, I just store the camp into blueprints and off I go.
At the camp selector from the map ,activate camp 2 which should say “unplaced”. That will pack up your existing camp and you will have NO camps on the map.
Now go to where you want your second camp to be and deploy it from the Pipboy.
Now, you will always have 2 placed camps available to you. Go back to the menu and just select/activate whichever camp you want to use.
When moving camps, make sure the one you want to move is the activated camp.
Only one of the camps can be active for use at any time. The inactive camp will show as dark/faded on the map but nothing can interact with it at all.
Just change servers or activate your second camp.
Learning that now, the game somewhat encourages the move at first. I changed servers maybe 7 times and every time it gave that message. Thankfully my new location is less popular, and I actually like it more.
