How do i get/use a jetpack
Are they even worth it?
Do you need power armour to use it?

i have gotten so many blueprints for jetpacks and never once found a way to craft or buy one.. so 120+ hours and i just ignore it's existence..

worth it ? YES
need power armour to use it ? NO but you can add the jetpack for the power armor too

i use the secret service armor with the jetpack. and on every power armor.

to use the jetpack, you must add it at an armor station.

You buy the pack plan for SS armor from Vault 79

You have to finish the Wastelanders questline to get in to Vault 79.

I assume there's pack plans for the other types of armor you buy plans for in Vault 79 too.

All of them cost bullion, not caps. You get the bullion by turning in treasury notes that you get from doing Public Events. The Treasury note machines are in Foundation and The Crater.

I posted all of that because with only 120 hours in, I got no clue if you've finished Wastelanders or not.

Edit; I guess I should add that there's 2 different kinds of packs. One is for PA and the other is for regular types of armor.

Edit 2; I don't do PA at all, or packs for regular armor either. For me, the Marsupial mutation works just fine.

If you can wait a few days the word is that Minerva's next sale will have the Secret Service plans at a discount. Just the base armor, though, from what I remember - she may not have the jetpack plans. Still, saving 25% on the armor price is worth it.

If you go for SS armory don’t waste your caps on the helmet.

Also, be careful while using Jetpack on power armor since it consume your ap but also a lot of your fusion core's power while using it. You need the power user x3 perk card with it to use less fusion core batteries or else you'll burn throught them quick.
On the other hand : secret service/brotherhood recon jetpack only consume your ap.

https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Minerva

Minerva is a wandering gold bullion trader who shows up every week or so for 2 or 3 days, rotating between Foundation, Fort Atlas, and Crater. Every time she shows up she has a rotating list of stock that changes, and it includes various plans that are 25% off of normal prices. Some of her items are things that were only available in other game modes (Nuclear Winter rewards), others are things from Daily Ops, others are things that are normally locked by storyline quests or reputation with Settlers/Raiders. There are lots of online resources where people announce her next visits and the expected stock list for that visit - Google will give you more than you need in that regard.
