Questions about the Camp Artillery Piece
-How far does it fire?
-How much damage does it do? (on direct hit)
-Does the demolition expert card boost its damage?

I haven't been able to find any information or data on this stuff, I have 5 camp slots, and I'm thinking about building artillery pieces in all of my camps and redistributing my camps across the map so any locations is in artillery range when I activate the appropriate camp location.

It's range within a certain radius of your camp, but not too close to your camp. I haven't noticed any noticeable change for damage with demo expert, but it will take out most mobs if your camp is next to a raider or super mutant camp. Mostly it's fun as a gag to shoot at your neighbors or rando passerby, but if you're parked on a cliff with a mob spawn within sight or on terrain that forces some distance between you and the any potential mobs it could have some actual defensive value.

I found this on the webs, I dunno if it's been nerfed yet:
"arty strike, try equipping a weapon with the instigating legendary effect. It works with grenades (I can only vouch for Nukas but I imagine it works for other grenades as well), so it might work with arty too. And I guess it doesn’t hurt to try? Right?"

"I know that CAMP Arty is mostly just a decoration but it can do good damage. I did a series of tests and apparently, the damage done was highest on my "Bloodied" character."

Ah, a fellow world of tanks player I presume judging by the use of "Arty" in your paragraphs. Hat tip to you and thank you.

The field artillery piece doesn't have the range a real life piece would but it still has some decent range to it.

I played around with it for a time. I had a camp at the Devil's Backbone location which was situated over the water between bridge and cliff. Stuck an artillery piece on the roof. With it, I was able to hit the front area of West Tek, Huntersville and The Thorn. See in game map to get an idea of the range.

It will soften up targets or kill them outright if you get lucky on the grouping. It's not something that will wipe out all the enemies in an area unless you get REALLY lucky. It's largely a gimmick, imo.

When you build the artillery piece, there will be a crate next to it. The crate will have 10 artillery smoke grenades in it. Chuck a smoke in the area you want the artillery piece to fire and wait a moment. After a short delay, you'll hear incoming artillery fire and it'll pound that area where you dropped smoke. If you are too far away, it will say something like: "Target out of artillery range".

I doubt perk cards have any affect on it. At least, I didn't notice any change.

Once salvo ends, you have to wait for piece to reload. You can't call back to back artillery strikes.

I haven't bothered with multiple pieces, but I've been told that multiple artillery pieces will extend the area hit as well as the duration of salvo. I didn't bother with multiple pieces since I was already close to budget limit.

Range wise, I have a camp at the bridge in Harpers Ferry. I can get all the way down to Camp Venture.

1) Not that far its kinda a decent amount of range that if you park it near some events or such and toss it, it will totaly help out
2) Not that much, i mean at lower levels vs like normal ghouls or raiders or such its pretty decent/good damage anything eles and it kinda blows
3) Not that i know of no
