pre one wasteland if you walked into an area a lvl 50+ previously walked threw all mobs would spawn according to that players level meaning if a lvl 10 walked threw after every mob not killed would still be there and scaled to the previous players level now things scale according to each player
update 22, I call it One Wasteland because that was what the update was mainly about, and that's also what everyone else calls it.
Changed things from multiplicative to addictive, which got rid of build diversity
We are talking like 1k on a weapons damage stat dropping to 100. Now you will struggle to even scratch a boss without having meta builds or every food and chem buff in the game.
It is all up to what you find fun though, I guess.
I personally thought it was a lot more fun making crazy builds that could solo sbq in only a few minutes.
Also hate when I start scorched earth now and the entire server can't kill the sbq fast enough before the event ends. As rare as that is, it still happens when no one is using OP legacy weapons or stealth commandos
I ran through the game as full health, no power armor, and using only Revolvers. Learn how the game works.
SBQ is meant to be a GROUP EVENT, not something you solo with a random build.
The reason it fails sometimes is not because people aren't Stealth Commando or using Legacy, it's because the majority of people who play 76 are braindead. They stand on things so they don't get hit by the summons, which will prevent her from landing, and shoot at her in the sky, where the damage drop off turns their damage into tickles.
Walk out into the field and use a CRYOLATOR on her and your groups will have a 100% win rate. Why? Because it slows her to a crawl and keeps her on the ground so everyone can pound her face at close range.
After watching a video of a bloodied build, it seems to take almost an entire clip to kill a super mutant. Curious to see how full health works.
Running through the game with it does not mean it's viable. It needs to be convenient to be viable/feasible.
How fast does it kill mutants? I would like to see how it performs in boss fights and in moonshine jamboree.
You're right, that's why its a world boss, I understand that completely.
Games are meant to be fun, and what you think is fun is up to you. As I said, what I found fun was making builds to see if they could solo bosses in a few minutes.
At that time you would not need to worry about your server being able to beat the sbq, because even unoptimized builds could deal enough damage.
I mainly use melee builds, I love you for helping me with your cryolator, you are doing a service to the community.
Giving it a lot of thought, Ima stop caring about this stuff. even if things arent viable, it's still fun making builds.
I was so focused on things being able to kill efficiently, I was taking the fun away from myself by only using the absolute best things, only wishing that I could use everything else.
Sure, I will be useless in events and look like a loser dealing no damage, but atleast i could have fun using what i want to.
Sorry about this useless argument, you are totally right about everything. My eyes have been opened
Paddle ball, protest sign, board here I come!
I kick people like you.
