Missile launchers are meh at best, you really got to be dedicated to make them good aka add those explosive perks on. I will admit missile launchers were quite handy for mid game for me you know dealing with scorugebeasts flying around just add a targeting scope and done makes the fight tad more easier and quicker to deal with now days i don't really need a missile launcher anymore.
Also your perks can hide it but trust me missile launchers tend to be from 33-39 in weight and that's a level 30-50 levelled ones, can't recall what the lower level weight might be, but yes they are quite heavy weapons so if you do so want to get rid of it at least your opening your stash or your person up to 33-39 more space to use what is quite a lot more room.
Trash it. It's worthless.
Explosive Launchers are misunderstood. Two Shot legendary effect is actually a 100% damage boost instead of the usual 25%.
Missile Launcher is the sniper rifle of explosives.
A two shot missile launcher equipped with quad barrel and targeting computer can clear out a large area of enemies in seconds at very long range.
Using it without perk/legendary support, is the same as using a Bloodied Fixer with a Full health heavy weapon build. It's going to suck.
Yep i've had the two shot missile launcher with all but the quad had the triple instead mod used it for two years before it started becomeing more of a storage item. It might wipe lower HP enemies like you said but idk about others but, i like to maximise my efficiency in everything i can do and so using rockets on clearly enemies i can kill with other weapons also easy seems more to me the more effective action to not use that weapon on those.
So yes i only ever used the two shot missiles on those more tougher ones like deathclaws super muts and so on you get the idea what ever has a bigger HP pool, as like to know each time i fire it that its not a waste. Pretty sure most have at least the same like mind set like i explained.
Its like in war games you would normally just save the RPG rockets or C4 for tanks and such and not for what you know isn't as tough enemies.
Also i never noticed it was 100% boost and not just like the rest thanks for that info.
Hello Necromancer, check the weight when you are in your stash - usually people have equipment or perk cards that reduce weight of weapons, these do not apply to weapons so they take up considerable space in a stash (20 or so for the bunker buster).
It'll show up these days with no stars... then next login it has stars...
You can also occasionally loot a level 25 one from a Blood Eagles encounter with Settler guards tied to a refrigerator.
