Default Loading Screens
Does anyone know where the default loading screen files are kept? Any way to delete them? Or replace them in the files?

Tried opening and closing photo gallery, doesn't solve the boring and ugly loading screen abominations that keep assaulting my eyes. They seem to have been taken with an xbox or something.

Just take pictures with Photomode or the Camera. The game will rotate those pictures in to replace the stock loading screens.

I have tons of images in my gallery.

The game keeps using default loading screens inbetween my photos, can't just get game to use my images. This happened after a patch, sometime around when we moved to Steam from the Bethesda launcher. Its still an issue, thought it was going to get patched but nope.

How do I fix this?

Everyone getting this or can it be fixed? Why isn't there a setting for this so we can disable these default screens entirely.

The default loading screen files have to be kept somewhere, must be a way to remove/replace them.

???????? Again have Pictures in your photo galley if all eles fails re-install or check for intregity / make sure its photos in the games gallery and such ...

The photos in my gallery are all present and correct.

The problem is sometimes the default loading screens appear, and seem to happen way too often for me to overlook.

Are you saying you never see the default loading screens and only ever see your own photos?

Check all the screenshots in Documents/My Games/Fallout 76/Photos/*some random numbers*

Make sure all the photos and thumbnails aren't corrupt. If a thumbnail is corrupt then the picture won't show and cause the default pics to show.

You probably can't do anything about the default ones as everything in this game is held in archive files and not easily altered. Altering may even cause the modified files error on log in.

All the thumbnails show, so the photos aren't corrupt.

I have TONS of photos in the gallery.

Any chance someone knows which file holds the default images, maybe could swap the pics out in the file then.

Needs to be a setting to turn off their horrible default loading screens, don't they have enough control over our game, we really need them to push ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scratchy looking xbox images into our loading screens on top of the whole no mods thing. Was whole selling point of taking these photos - to have custom loading screens, why they screw with that as well.

Need fix. Been busted for many months now.

I don't know.
But the last few days it has changed.
I now get Pitt screens for 30 seconds to feels like 5 mins.
Then 1 pic of Game taken photo, then maybe 1 of mine.
Oh and I might get " disconnected from server" during all that.
Lucky ME I get to do it all again:steamthumbsup:
