I found out simply by failing the first time I did it because I couldn't find the pepper.
+ 25
you cook a perfect soup
+ 25
just burn the soup
1. start soup task and stir once
2. get the other two tasks
3. complete the other two tasks
4. soup task should have finished ready to collect and give to one of the two npc's
simples as there is no difference between success and failure of the soup task...
Well, if you still need Raider/Settler reputation there is a difference, so it's worth doing if you still need faction rep
Now that I have maxed rep with both factions, her stew is going to be burnt. Also, I'm an herbivore and get zero benefits from the stew.
Expeditions is good. Can always flesh it out later. As long as Bethesda add content with open ends they can always do that.
Incorrect.
I host at least one expedition per day, and participate in at least one additional expedition.
Sometimes with friends, sometimes with randoms.
And I am always seeing expedition teams pop up.
Yep, just another case of NPCs being useless without the player around.
Darth Traya said it best: "If you seek to aid everyone that suffers in the galaxy, you will only weaken yourself... and weaken them. It is the internal struggles, when fought and won on their own, that yield the strongest rewards."
EDIT: Just wanted to add I also hate these kinds of quests that don't think about the larger world they're in. Think about this one, you are tasked with providing stew to a representative that will then take that back to their settlement... how?
Just try it. Walk from Whitespring to Crater or Foundation, bearing in mind you are a regular human and not a super powered Vault Dweller. You have to stick to well established paths, avoid the most dangerous areas and provided food/drink as you will die. It's not reasonable to think that goal can ever be achieved so the whole task is rubbish.
Or just give them Psycho Stew.
