That ambient dark heavy industry sounds. Also the banjo type of instrumentals for long walks in the wasteland. I have no idea why Bethesda didnt utilize those sounds more. They could also use more nature sounds effects walking in the forest. Not every bird etc are dead.
Exploring a new vault with those Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 sounds effects is kind of creepy.
