Seasonal Board Blueprints are unlocked for all characters and Atom purhcases are unlocked for all characters. Atoms are shared between all characters.
Each character is born with 2 camp slots for fee. You can purchase additional camp slots in the Atom shop. Atom shop purchases for slots are account wise so buy an additional camp slot for character 1, and any subsequent characters can also use a third, fourth, or fifth camp slot.
Deleting a character means that everything it owns, knows, did is gone. With the help of a friend, you can transfer any droppable items to a new character when you decide to delete a character.
There are a few early missions that require camps to be placed and used. So no need to wait to make a home. Advantages of a camp are that you can Fast Travel to it for free!
If you place a camp and then decide you don’t like the location. You can move it to a different location. When you move the camp device (from your pipboy) it packs up everything from the old location and puts it in the stored and blueprint tabs. If you can’t place the blueprint, you can break it down into walls, floors, etc and then place those items at the new location. Experienced players don’t even attempt to place a blueprint because it has a 99% chance of not being able to be placed. You will just want to make a camp that fits the new terrain.
1. You can Fast travel for free to any team member, their camp, or Survival tent.
2. You will receive caps or XP when a teammate completes a quest.
3. If you happen to be participating in an event with your team mates you will receive xp from anything they kill whether you tagged the mob or not.
4. You can loot any mob killed by a team mate if you are near them when the mob dies.
5. Peiple can and will share perk cards so you can gain the effect of having a perk even if you don’t really have it.
6. Different groups have different bonuses but it primarily comes down to two group types.
Casual and Daily Ops.
Casual gives you +1 per member counting yourself. Which can be up to 12% more xp.
Daily ops means you want to do a daily op and so all members will participate and gives bonus xp to the completion.
