Dang, that's it? I was hoping for more stuff around the Forest, or Test Your Metal or something so it would be a bit easier to farm some of the specific rewards.

Nope, those you've got to wait for RNG to give you those events.

Shoot, ah well. Sometimes I've been having to wait days to get Test Your Metal to pop up. I also wasn't seeing many Forest events for the last couple weeks and suddenly started seeing them all over yesterday and today

Fertile Soil near the robotic farm in Flatwoods seems to start up every time I come near the town. All three of the power plants have events that kick off when you first come into the area, unless it's already been powered up in the past (hour or three hours?). All unclaimed workshops kick off a 'claim workshop' event if you venture near as well, and after claiming you'll trigger a 'defend workshop' event within a few minutes of you claiming it.

Grafton Day or Protest March in Grafton.
Battle Bot in the Ash Heap.

There are a couple of events in Grafton that automatically start if you fast travel there or enter the town--Protest March and the Grafton Day parade.

If you travel near the work stations, and no on owns them, game will set you up to kill all the threats around them and take them over. They are pretty much all over the game and most of the time a pain as you are on a quest having noting to do with it and it gets in the way.

Patrol Duty/Prison Break used to be triggered by travelling near the prison. Now that Prison Break is a Public Event I'm not sure if they still do. I actually haven't seen Patrol Duty happen in a while
