Is Fallout 1st worth it?

Update: The reviews were mixed which means this has value to some and not others. that is a sign of a useful product. Those against it just said don't waste your money, whereas I got longer answers from some supporters. So I decided to try it, this is after two days with it.

I got 1650 atoms right away and that every month. Is that calendar month or purchase month? I will find out tomorrow. If I get atoms tomorrow then I have gotten 2700 atoms in two days, I think that would cost more than $13.

Next I saw that I now have a private Fallout 1st world. I have seen many online videos where someone says that he will take me to location A to get item B. When we get there it is gone because someone else got there first. Should not be an issue in a private world.

I am half way through the scoreboard and I was able to retroactively claim all skipped Fallout 1st rewards.

So far, so good.

FYI, it is every month from the date of purchase, so no, you won't get double the amount of atoms in two days. IMO, Fallout 1st is worth it for one month alone since you get to keep items received after it expires except the survival tent and the ability to add to the scrapbox.

If you're a hoarder, or a crafter, then yeah fallout 1st is worth it... just for the unlimited scrap stash only 1st members have access too.

The survival tent is useful too. I kinda consider this game unplayable without fallout 1st, as in, if I'm not subscribed to 1st I don't even bother playing... too annoying.

it can be , i learned to play by using reg materials in my camp an building a fun camp at a fun spot, bulk an sell alot of them to vendors , dispite the unlimit junk i think there is still alimit to regular stash, so really play around with the game an figure things out, still leaning to two computer's two accounts the best way to get around first

I have paid 1st many years on both steam accounts & a few XBox accounts. Sadly I tend to play more when I dont but even if you dont play its worth it for the atoms you get each month. The unlimited scrap is a must because you will fill up your stash in no time with scrap/junk if you are like me & like to loot all the junk or if you tend to setup camp in locations with junk nodes & set down a scrap bot or dog to collect scrap for you. Then there is the survival tent which you can set down in many locations & its extremely useful! Wither you just need to scrap something, put something in your stash, take a nap for that extra XP% boost, setup a quick spawn location, or prepare a spawn location for you & your team to spawn for events like The Scorch Beast Queen. Its all very useful. I think the yearly sub is your best bet. I generally pay the year then cancel that way its not on auto & will end when the year is done & I can decide if I want to sub again or not being I play many different games here & there.

Like some others have said, you need to decide for yourself if its useful or not.

I noticed a week after my last year ended this new season ended & new 1st items & bonuses were added to the scoreboard which was nice but kind of annoyed me. I feel they should have done that to begin with.

- Unlimited Scrap should be for all players

For me its worth it if I play & dont get burnt out or bored with it. Sadly if there is not something on the season board of interest to me I generally dont bother with it. Its why I didnt renew my yearly last time.

Easy way to find out. Do one month see how you like it. If you like it do a year, if not cancel you lost nothing.

the biggest con is 1 month of 1st can sometimes cost more then the game itself.
Buyer beware, cause you don't really get any extra story content with 1st and its just a horder box of scrap you will never use because lets face, build mode doesn't allow us to build enough.

This..., Fallout 76's community is the ONLY community I know of (other than star citizen) where 99.9% of players are genuinely eager to help you. I always get people offering me free caps, help running a mission, advice about my gear/load/grind. It's been a never ending train of help.

Heck, I've had dozens of instances over the years where I want something from a store and go damn yea I gotta save up for it,. then the shop owner just gives me it and says pass on the kindness (which I do). Its a great community.

I think the best part is that whenever I meat some nice guy they are usually on the mic, and they are almost 20+ years older than me. To me that's just a testament to this game, and even if it were bandwagoned to death you still would have loyal players.

yeah i agree i only once met a disgruntle mic player and they got instant banned in 24 hours. everyone i seen in game is pretty chill an awesome to join random teams an help everyone out, when i first started playing i met some level 200's and the guy had a pretty awesome camp over near whelch, i was still a noob at the time but to this day the people are still pretty awesome, love to see everyone at the SBQ, Mine, radition rumble, and raider stills events.
