Jetpack teleport bug and underwater use
Does only I have this bug that teleports me a long way back while using jetpack? It's giving me cancer while I fly over 50-100m in jetpack only to realise game teleports me entire road back with stealing my stamina... Or worse, while I fly over water and game decide to teleport me back and I fall into water, which isn't nice while wearing Power Armor...

And another thing, why we can't use Jetpack under water?! I got so plenty of frustrating situations while I fall into water and wasn't able to leave my power armor because being stuck in very tight water hole. These bugs and glitches and bad decisions sometimes make me wonder why I keep playing with power armor... Wait, I keep because game is too hard for not wearing it (Enemy damage is overpowered). Honestly I wish they never make Power Armors like it is... I wish they were like in old Fallout games because PA is limiting my character very badly, and I never used them except this game.

And yes... I could wear Secret Service armor and finally get rid of PA but I'm at beginning of wastelanders and got only 4000 gold bullions, I'm guessing it's not enought for complete armor with all good mods like jetpack. :steamsad:

yes that's annoying.
literally everyone has it

and actually good question about the uw jetpack thing

about you keeping on your PA just means you need to revise your armor
You... Don't .. Need ... A Full Set of SS (unless you have some of the legendary perk cards that require you to wear the same thingies of armor)

i advise players to get the chest and the jetpack
if they wanna fly that is

Sounds like you were on a bad server and experiencing server lag. When using jetpack you can be moving quite fast and a laggy server can struggle to update your position. When it cannot update fast enough it will put you back to the last known position, which can be several seconds ago.

I get the same from time to time when i am sprinting and doing parkour down the side of a cliff and changing position very quickly. Usually server hopping to a better server can help. Seems to be happening to me more now than ever before. Hope it improves.

It is called a jetpack which implies it is a jet engine so it needs oxygen to burn. Unless it can supply its own oxygen underwater there is not much burnable oxygen there. If it is a rocket then it could supply its own oxidiser onboard and could in theory work underwater. More than likely it is a gameplay decision seeing as you are limited in PA to walking very slowly when in deep water, but can breathe for longer. If you could just jetpack out then there would be no downside to being in deep water in PA.

One of my characters is full time PA and i cannot remember ever getting stuck in water. There isn't much deep water on the map. Maybe be more careful and don't try to jetpack over water if this keep happening.
trying to help you out
so ...quick questions 123:

- do you collect resources non-stop?
- do you have mutations on you?
- do you play only solo or mostly in team?
- are you wearing an excavator PA with calibrated shocks?

Nahh, I got this problem since I crafted Jetpack month ago. But today it pi*sed me off so hard that I started discussion because haven't found any about this thing. (What is quite surprise, because I got cancer while being teleported again and again...)

No to all of the above. Ultracite PA with pure cards playing and no Radiation exploits. Also I'm lone wanderer perk user so I avoid joining teams.

Well I wanted Secret Service armor because it has protection almost like Power Armor with all balanced Dmg/Energy/Rad protections and also jetpack feature which is imho very need in many of events (For example jumping into roofs to avoid fake sheepsquatch or tought situations etc.)

so i understand this character is pure (no mutation whatsoever allowed?)
you don't even want marsupial right?
and pure solo?

if such is your case
i tip my hat to you
that is a tough build for sure

that being said you need to focus strongly on your cards
can you show us a screenshot or send us your deck via https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character ?

Well here is my deck at current moment (sorry for Polish language, but mostly it's damage and penetration build and Heavy weapons buffs, I have also plans to rise some Special limits via legendary cards and buff myself more):

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2799352936

From Legendaries I'm using Ammo craft, Lockpick/hack and Fusion Core recharge chance.
I don't use mutations because I just like to play my own style that I use in every fallout games (Light armor with heavy weapons). Unfortunately here light armor does not protect me well and I'm forced to wear PA as long I don't get something better than Heavy combat armor I'm currently use as underwear of PA.
L) krwawa jatka = bloody shambles
A) kobieta czynu = woman of action
I) PIERWSZA POMOC = FIRST AID
SUPEROGNIWO = SUPERFINK
C) BIURO PODROZY = TRAVEL AGENCY

S) zbrojna lapa = armed paw

so far this then ? https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-76/character?v=1&s=f465c86&d=s01p53cr0c72eh2eo2s31sr2sq1ip2s12i12a72a04l92lt2sb2s92
also Nooo idea what SUPERFINK means, but whatever it is it sounds better than the english counterpart
also what weapons you use as main ?
and do you have underarmor?

and i'm guessing you're a full health player?

Mostly heavy stuff, Ultracite Laser Gatling for normal fusion cores, Minigun, .50 Browning machine gun, MG-42 and Plasma Gatling. For meele I'm using supersledge. All weapons fully moded with legendary 3 stars like armor penetration, more damage while enemy got less than 40% of HP, +25% dmg while using aim etc.

Also my underwear is marine wet suit with heavy combat armor with BoS mods and weight reduction. All parts also moded with legendary 3 star perks.
My Ultracite power armor also is fully moded with almost same configuration of legendary perks that reduce damage and auto heal me with stimpak (I have died only twice in my 440h playtime, both times in Fake sheepsquatch event, but since I got jetpack it's easier to avoid Assaultron head-laser).

Superogniwo - Superfink is a 2x Fusion Core capacity, very handy in Gatling Laser because I got 999 ammo per one core even without PA. And because it's my favourite weapon since Fallout 4, I very likely stick with build for it to buff damage and reduce Fusion core weight for it. I only wish it does not break so quickly... (Around 3 reloads during Scorched Queen Beast event and it's become destroyed. I wonder if there is perk card to make it more durable? Have seen only for rifles, not sure if it's affect Gatling Laser/Plasma guns.)

Edit: You mean keeping Radiation at 0 and always keep HP in 100%? If so, yeah. I always carry with me around 80+ Stimpaks and 60+ Radaway's. I even invest into auto healing to keep myself not dying. Just my playstyle. Well almost, because to keep myself from death I need to wear PA which I just dislike because how it is. Noises, sounds, limiting my movement, feeling like tank and funny run animations. Little destroying my immersion. But from what I read Secret Service Armor + Endurance Card lvl 5 with Damage/Energy protection would be much better than my Ultracite Power Armor and even T-65, but with no % Damage reduction. That's why I consider only this one as option for my playstyle. Also Jetpack is realy handy.

what i noticed instantly is you don't have ricochet in L

your wetsuit underarmor needs shielded lining
https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Shielded_lining

Marine +9 +9 +9 +2 Strength, +1 Perception, +2 Endurance

also don't keep the normal stimpaks and diluted
only carry the supers on you

Yeah, I was considering Ricochet because at lvl 3 it's very big chance to happend. One of my PA Leg have something like ricochet, which kills literally every weak ghoul/Radroach that is trying to punch me. Happend very often with only 5% chance, so I believe 20% with card is worth.

Also I don't have plans for marine wetsuit protection. Not sure where to get it.
