Nope, repair kits aren't tradeable and you can only buy regular ones, improved are event rewards only.

I think I have around 250 of them because I don't need to repair my equipment that often.

I believe, reg. repair kit = 100% .. improved = 170%... I use perk's, repair armor = 200%, repair weapon = 200% and use my stash bin. Ammo, perk 1.8 more ammo with super duper. Swap them out when I need to all do that. Repair kits ^^... I dump them, what else can you do?

They're pretty handy when you're in the middle of a big event and your gun gives you the 'almost broken' warning. I always keep a couple of the improved ones on me. The basic ones I burn on looted weapons and armor for the "repair [x] weapons/armor" daily/weekly challenges.

I have a few hundred (thousand?) I.Repair kits so they are just my defacto repair option... daily thing wants you to repair three things... sure done

Same here, I'm swimming in these improved repair kits. Likely had hundreds which is a bit pointless. I now keep about 30 on me and stash about the same number just in case and drop the rest. Having these around makes the daily repair task so easy.

I have not done a bench repair in so long it only seem fair that my character(s) completely forget how to do it, since they have been relying on this magic box to instantly repair stuff for so long. :steammocking:

Well I am very happy that everyone else seems to have so many of these.......
I don't........

Ironically, every person riding the Fallout 76 hate train will tell you repair kits are pay to win.

I have a bunch stashed away like others have mentioned. I did the math the last time around with one of the haters. I currently have enough repair kits to repair my weapon every 2-4 hours for the next 300 hours of play time.

Yet the haters still insist buying the lesser ones in the Atom Shop is some get rich quick scam by Bethesda. When it is repeatedly proven nobody buys them them because they have so many free ones from events that are better.

repair kits scrap kits and lunchboxes are one move away from being paid items only and they would have been if ppl didn't make such a big stink

Every time Scorched Earth pops up, participate in it. You get two or three every time.

The trick is to wear power armor. That way you can largely ignore repairs to armour and only worry about weapons.

My PA character has way more repair kits than my others due to not needing to repair 5 (or mostly left leg) armour pieces every so often.
