Question about "Taking one for the Team"
I am curious about that Legendary Perk Card. I try to use it, but I have a problem with it:

Is it already triggered when an enemy shoots at me, or do I need to take damage for it? Do I need to have the teambuff to using it?

I tried to test it. I shot at an enemy with my gatling gun, did around 150 dmg. Than I wait until he attacks me, and I attack again. But it was 150 dmg again. So in my eyes, it didnt worked. Or do I miss something?
Tested it on Deathclaw Island. Equiped with the card, and without it.

You need to be on a team (but not near or interacting with them), won't work solo. There are some bugs though with suppressor that will overwrite the effect.

Forgot to mention I was on a team, but thanks for the tip with suppressor. I will watch over this!

So after some further testing I can say, that seems to "block" taking one for the team, at least for me -taking one for the team- doesn't triggers when using Suppressor. But when I took Suppressor off, it seemed to trigger almost always. It seemed at 1-2 points that it had a slightly delay.

Taking one for the team also is a very short lived thing

Still an awesome 1.5 multiplier to all damage coming in to enemies... really its a quarter of the key to taking earle out in ~15 seconds

When the enemy is aggro vs you it is active

then instantly (up to whatever server lag you have is) when it switches aggro to a new target the effect is lost

So it can take from instant up to *server lag* to go into effect
and it can be removed from instant up to *server lag*

The last part seem to still happen very often for me. I went into Westtek, 5 Supermutants shooting at me: 2 Supermutants never got the Debuff. 2 Supermutants got it, but not for each of my shot. Just for about 2/5 while they were in fight with me all the time. Only one Supermutant had the buff for all shots. Did that several times, the combination always vary.

This is a hugh bummer for me. Anoying as hell. Honestly If I had known this to be so troublesome, I would have taken another Special-Perk instead. Now I guess I have to live with it, because my dumb ass upgraded it to level 4 before even using it. At least Electric Absorption is ridicilously good for my PA-Build. Those are the only two I've got at level 4 atm.
