why do some trash on players who use Power Armor? i think FO4 and 76 kinda pushed it to be forced

Yeah, ghoulish does and useful for rad rumble, but the 90% reduction is noticeable when whacked by a ghoul in the overworld. Used to be much stronger when rad worms worked on all rad sources, ghoul hits you gives you worms increasing the heal.

But really VATS and crits in particular are why PA will be miles behind in the dps race. VATS is also broken to allow hits on non visible locations like sentry bot fusion cores which no heavy gun can do.

VATS and PA cost fusion core charge on top of ammo cost and if that was removed it would open up the weapon choices, especially the plasma caster.

Ghoulish heals based on Rad damage, but rad damage also reduces max HP. My primary healing are radiation-over-time sources like rad barrels, water sources, or blast zones to give What Rads? time to remove. Cannibal is the all-time best to use with Ghoulish though.

PA just uses more Fusion Cores for VATS, but still doable. People tend to ignore the majority of PA mods, but it does have VATS Matrix Overlay, Kinetic Servos, and either Core Assembly or Kinetic Dynamo.

I was using an LMG in VATS with PA, so a Plasma Caster is easily doable.

The lack of Stealth is why regular armor pulls ahead in DPS. Even Stealth Boy can't hide the sound of PA foot steps.

Well I use power armor for Minigun Shredder attack bonus.
No other use, just to increase heavy weapon damage.

Make it yourself from the plans you will get from playing. Then roll legendary effects on it. This is the easiest way to get something you actually would use.

Check out other players vendors. Armour is sold frequently. Regular armour pieces will drop from events and from legendary enemies too.

No one plays fallout right, okay

We are all supposed to go naked with sticks /twigs and slap things.

I use power armor, but i only on the rare occasions when i am bored and want to feel like i am Thomas the Tank Engine. The rest of the time or at least 85% is rushing around doing missions etc.

I have noticed they travel a gaggle of Power Armor groups. They flock around me and block everything but the worst part is they leave spent fusion cores everywhere.
