Scoreboard Gamma Gun???????

I thought there was a gamma gun on the scoreboard. What happened to it?

It onky spawned at level 15 regardless of your level. Enough people screamed they replaced it and the Gamma ammo with other stuff.

If you had already claimed it, you got the other stuff as well. They are looking at ways to get it back in the game and leveled.

So those of us who have actual lives and jobs do not get a chance to acquire this item as easily as anyone else? Seems like a good business practice to me.

Well the gun isn't amazing, yeah its got a couple of extremely OP things you can do with it (its capable of one shot knock out *OHKO* of any non radiation immune enemy)... so its being a little abused in some of the PvP groups

Mostly I think it was removed because people (vocal youtubers) didn't like the tons of wasted spots on the board

Honestly a freaking gamma gun as an reward. Glad it's gone. Even with max pistol builds for it. Just useless, unless bloodied build.

it was obviously intended as part of a daily "kill x amount with your zorbo thingy"

You can easily craft, mod and make a Gamma Gun legendary with very little difficulty. It's not as though it had anything special about it. Just an AA Gamma Gun with a fancy name. I've got better Gamma Guns from player vendors... e.g. Two-Shot and Bloodied.

its the first reward, if you dont have time to get the first reward then you also dont have time to be on the steam forums or even on your pc to play games.

Hi everyone,
We’re aware of an issue causing Xerxo’s Gamma Gun, the Rank 2 reward for Season 7, to only spawn as a level 15 item instead of scaling to match your character’s level. Currently, we feel that too few players would find this weapon useful in combat, and we have decided to replace it and Gamma Round rewards on the Scoreboard.

Instead, upon reaching Rank 2, you will be able to claim a reward of 10 Legendary Modules. Ranks 3 and 23 now award Carry Weight Boosters and Basic Repair Kits, respectively, rather than Gamma Rounds. Don’t worry if you’ve already claimed Xerxo’s Gamma Gun or the Gamma Rounds--You can revisit the Season 7 Scoreboard to reclaim Ranks 2, 3, and 23 to receive your Modules, Carry Weight Boosters, and Repair Kits.

In a future update, we’re planning to re-release a fixed version of Xerxo’s Gamma Gun for free for all players that will better match their characters’ current levels. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope the Legendary Modules help you craft some more legendary gear for your arsenal in the meantime.
