Still no slocum joes paint

I got the slocum joes power armor paint from manerva last week and still cant apply it to my power armor

it may be tied to a certain type of power armor. there are many types. some dont work with others

First it was part of the Nuclear Winter Reward. Originally you needed a rank of 39 overseers Rank an up to use and equip it.

Now Since Nuclear Winter was discontinued the rewards where moved over for people to just buy.

My guess is what is happening is the paint will not apply because the lazy developers at Bethesda forgot to tell the game not to look for an Overseer Rank. Now since it is impossible to get a Overseer Rank at all, this makes the paint not kick in or be accessed.

All they have to do is change a digit in the code to give all the accounts 39 Overseer Rank and it would be fixed. Yet, Tod Howard is not a forgiving gaming god and so they delay... delay for nothing.

Hey, at least we got a clean shower right !

Oof. So you know to be wary of anyone in frosted pink donut armor. Anyone who goes out for an overseer position is probably bad news...

So what do we do?

On Reddit players have put in a support ticket with screenshots showing proof of ownership (Difficult now Minerva has left).

Support was able to activate the paint on their character somehow (maybe they awarded the account wide NW paints?) and it worked.

The rest of us have to wait for a patch or backend script. BGS Austin is really slow in resolving issues like this so could take months or never happen (Mountain scout mask without night vision is the proof).

So what do we do?

As said by others, A support Ticket to Bethesda. I wish their was more we could do.

Still don't expect it to be fast fix either as Bethesda really takes their time fixing anything. It will get fixed, somewhere between now and 2025. With the way they seem to be doing things at Bethesda.

Plus, don't forget Bethesda has a new space RPG game coming out, so the development team is a little distracted.
