You want the enclave aligned flamer mod (other enclave ones are also fine but they come attached to gun when it drops)

You then want an enclave plasma gun

You WANT it to have the 'reflex' sights AND a stabilized stock (or really any rifle stock, NOT a pistol stock)

the enclave gun is both a rifle and a pistol

it needs to have the correct stock to be either or

the stabilized one is a rifle one

if in doubt look at the weapon, if its short its a pistol

what i have is a 3 star prime ffr, vampire, faster movement while aiming standard sight. enclave rifel thats the discription. i will have to check on the stabilized stock, yes it has the stabilized stock. so i just need the reflex sight, do i really need it for it to work properly?

I think the god rolls on these are the AA or V with 50C 25 AP
with the stab stock a reflex sight

If your not using it in vats you should be fine without the reflex sight

I have a normal Plasma Rifle V/FFR/25 and it melts anything that walks in front of it ,so yours should be a bit better with the damage boost the enclave has

thanks just looking at the damage stats they are only 55 so to up every thing do you have to be commado or rifelman with all the perks, i am a heavy build, i would not ask so many questions but i see a lot of people talking about this an was just amazed to find the mod just laying on the floor.

The V FFR is considered a god roll enclave, I have some its able to kill enemies instantly and keeps your hp topped up while doing it

the enclave rifle actually doesn't effectively benefit from its 3rd star... the best would be vats ap reduction... HOWEVER, you only use the weapon to earle melt with canned coffee (10x = infinite ap for its duration) so its nothing really a bonus

the reflex sight is much the same, it reduces the cost of the vats ap per shot... again its not really important, but IF you want this as a trade gun eventually it needs to have it to hold any value

so are you saying its not necessary to change my build from heavy to something else for this to work??
tdurham Feb 4, 2022 @ 7:13pm
i guess i could look up the specs. instead of bugging the crap out of you guys, sorry.

The enclave plasma flamer benefits IIRC from rifleman

using commando I hit for 800 damage multiple times a second vs regular enemies...

So yes you could use your heavy and just melt things... the gun is broken for a reason

ok, thanks again

Yeah, occasionally I go into battle with a crafting or charisma build. I'm pretty much dead meat because every enemy goes for the weak target. a plasma flamer, enclave or not will still do the damage and put em down fast without the right build.

A heavy build uses cards from the strength colume. Rifles get the perk cards from the perception colume. So, you can have both at the same time.

You can but its inefficient

the point is the enclave plasma flamer is so ludicriously OP that it doesn't need any further damage buffs to melt regular enemies

i like useing my heavy weapons so i made myself a hybred, works great, i do see what all the talk is about this thing, it really does work great, at first it seemed to use a lot of ammo but when you get use to it it is like my gausse mini, not so much because it kills so fast, been fun so far.
