*** MAKE sure you did the settler sidequest that gives you the chinese stealth suit before you progress ***
You can still do the half of the brotherhood story (~2 hours maybe)
Afterwards you unlock a new currency, then you can complete assorted side quests, and grind for better gear
Side quests, pvp, events, daily ops. Unlock more legendary perk card slots from leveling up.
i'd say it's the end of a chapter. you still have the overseer's mission to complete after vault 79.which is a lengthy quest line which gives you access to even more gear and a ton of lore about what happened.
after you finish the overseer's mission, you then have the brotherhood quest line too.
finish vault 79 m8, then you will see how it opens up even more.
It's like FO4 where sure you've completed the main story line, but there are always radiant quests to do, and places to explore. With the added bonus that they add new quests lines several times a year.
The game doesn't really end, it is just the same day played out over and over again (look at pip boy calendar).
- Reclamation Day (The Overseer's journey, ending at Fissure Prime).
- Wastelanders (The appalachians struggle, ending at vault 79).
- Broken Steel (Brotherhood of Steel storyline, not complete yet).
