I also saw that someone said the OP had over 3k hours, not sure where you got that info from M8, Although PcTechNik isn't exactly new, having under 300 hrs would at least (to me) put them in a young category for the game.
I'm not seeing any reason in your words just a lot of assumptions about my playstyle.
Perhaps you are fallout 1st and have lots of storage space for many weapons. Maybe you keep a special weapon for events and others for open world. I've got a few and the same gun I bring to the SBQ or Bots on Parade, is what I'm showing up to this event with.
Greed is shooting every noc once and expecting others to kill whatever for you. Me? Oh I'm grabbing the materials from the rad rooms to meet the actual goal, or having done that, in defending the scavengers so you or someone else can go down.
Where is the greed? I killed a npc efficiently?
I'm not seeing it, maybe make a case instead of lobbing blind assumptions at me. I'm not your strawman.
Also me, I'll be sticking to opps with friends. We get the job done in under 8min and work as a team.
First, we're going to start with the idea of basic math to lay down the foundation of existing with limited resources. Then we'll talk about sharing..
Then appreciate that you can dip on any server with too many dips or just stick to your team/solo to complete stuff. Then appreciate that it's a game, nothing to waste energy on; take or leave what you want so far as personal growth. The game is supposed to be fun; if it's not, I'm sorry but you're doing it wrong.
I can always go back to blowing the legs off of every ghoul I see as well as tagging stuff with the splash damage but I wanted to avoid doing that after one-shotting lengendaries.
Turn on pacifist mode if you don't want to get attacked.
Lvl 320 - yes I am aware of Pacifist mode but USUALLY (and nobody seems to have mentioned this) it is not needed in what is supposed to be a cooperative event - I've never had issues of PvP in radiation rumble before, I know the player in question SPECIFICALLY took certain steps to enable PvP in his case. Steps that go beyond 2 players shooting each other.
Your views of my playstyle is entirely speculative. I had taken care as to not inflict massive amounts of damage on any player, its just how I am in an event or out in the open - I was there for the event after all. On one occasion I was even chased all the way through Charleston Capitol Building by a PvP'r constantly attacking me and because I was careful and never hit him, I never died. YES, I made 3 mistakes, 1) I assumed a co-op event would not allow PvP (I later found out that PvP CAN be triggered). 2) I assumed I had pacifist mode on, but after my first death - and the fact the scavengers were dying, I did not feel I had time to switch on pacifist mode in favour of trying to help win the event and finally, 3) I assumed that the decent thing in a co-op event if I "scratched your paint" was a warning shot.. not a "frag you" attitude.
Oh... and I use a vampire exploding 50cal. the only reason I died is because I stopped shooting. My killer knew I stopped shooting (we were facing each other the 2nd time) but, give an inch, they'll take a mile. If he looked to his right, he would've seen the ghoul I was shooting at.
As I said, I know I made mistakes but I know I didn't go out of my way to damage the guy, some people however, are unfamiliar with weatons law...
Yes, I came here and vented, yes, I made mistakes, but neither of those makes my killer to be in the right. I'm a reasonable person yet unreasonably, expect the same from others. This game is, after all, well known for its helpful player base - I myself have been chasing after level 1's and gifting them diluted stimpaks, bobby pins, armour & melee weapons, level 5's with fully modded 10mm's, level 15's with fully modded handmades and a hundred plus of rounds for each gun. Seeing those little dudes and dudesses emote their joy and catching up with them later at events and seeing them using their new toys makes me smile.
Are you telling me you've never done this, that being unfamilar with weatons law is the norm? even for FO76?
Accidents happen, if you don't want pvp keep Pacifist on until you get in a situation where you need to turn it off such as a pvp event or duel.
Some player might go to RR looking for that PVP accident why? If you are one of those players running around picking up junk from everything you kill the whole duration they will love to be clipped just to take everything worthless or not...RR at the end timer is now a pvp potential zone and if you dont use caution at that timers end you will face being dead.
This is a reason for killing and also as I have said and you are right I should not say YOU as a player but i am aware of the player type SPAMMING like a hog and that is a trigger to someone trying to do it in a way that all players benefit which is reason two those Hog-Spamming with intent to kill all Mobs are dead.
And @EVILISH, No, I wait for the end of the event to collect junk.
PvP is disabled between people doing the event until the event is complete
Players who want to grief will simply go to their pipboy and cancel the event, now they are not a part of it and any pvp damage you do to them can be responded to in full as per normal rules
Its been a grief thing for a few months now
