what, if any, under armor can you wear under power armor?

I don't really use power armor and don't want to waste a lot of time trying different under armors.

You cannot wear anything under Power Armor.

You can wear anything you want under Power Armor. But you won't get any benefits from the effects, that the armor will usually give. So it would be just wasted space in your carry capacity.

I personally just wear some clothing, that covers armor/underarmor, so I'm not being naked in my Power Armor.

but you dont have to take under armor on or off. that happens when the power armor strips you to your underwear and stretches your body like a toy to squish into the PA frame.
there is or was a bug that showed other players what you looked like and sometimes you would exit the pa and remain in pa form but wearing your under/over armor clothes lol...
