Absolutely. I'm the solo type. The ONLY time I bother with people is doing the daily ops thing, or when someone drops a nuke for the SBQ. They have massively improved on the world of 76, and it feels just like Fallout now, only with real people running around. Endgame does get pretty grindy though, but I already expected that anyway.

I played through the entire storyline solo when the game first came out and I had just as much fun as previous singleplayer-only games

Its doable but not optimal.

I prefer solo overall and you can basically do everything solo except some level 50+ events especially because of scaling.
Ya, I only play Solo or in Public Teams (but I still play solo even if on a public team).
FO76 includes a full single player campaign, that is constantly added to (first we had Reclamation, then Wastelanders, now Steel Dawn, and the Steel Dawn expansion later this year).

If you liked FO4, then you'll feel right at home playing FO76
i mostly solo. Only time i ever team is daily ops and maybe events.

To quest and simply to explore the world can be done in solo at every time. As i did it. It feels like singleplayer unless sometimes an other player crosses my pathes to wave a "Hello" or simply ignore me.
Only when you are joining the numerous events, you eventually have to play together with some other players. And you´ll need this events, cause it spends a lot of loot an legendary items.

Yes & no, whole game can be played solo as most PPL here mentioned it.
But you'll find empty places, sumoned wertabeerds convoy with nuclear card, lagged mobs (especialy ghuls), crawling lizard-men with suppresed 45. Gun and more, on bright side you have events and some can even help you with problematic parts.

you won't really even notice majority of the time there is a player in the world other than those who turn on icon for selling item, and even then you can block players and their icon will disappear on the map, and even if you join in a team they mostly doing their own thing and won't bother you, joining a team is beneficial since there is plenty of perks and mutation that boost a lot more when you are in a team compare to solo perks/mutation, event are doable even as a solo, you just need plenty of ammo and one good legendary weapon(doesn't have to be a 3 star), you can do without legendary but you need more ammo

I think so, yes. But that also means Lone Wanderer no longer works for you.
