Being one-shot + no cooperation = no fun
Really sucks so i never finished the quest chain.
Stupid broken quest i'll avoid it in the future..
The Imp Sheep has 100% anti armour
so his special beam cannon cuts through you faster than goku into radditz
Plus he drops fire zones around which have pretty high aoe damage
Plus if you take the conduits you take extra dot damage (which can bug and become a permanent thing for that server)
IF you want to face tank him, you want anti robot troubleshooter stuff which is -15% from robots per part, can almost halve his damage output with those
Added to the PA damage ignore and
Then you add high health and some regen and he is kinda a joke...
OR you just do enough damage to go braaaaap and put him down quick
I'd say it failed as most of experienced players have finished the season or trick/treating and taking a break. Even 1 prepared player can make all the difference.
Troubleshooter's Armor (Power Armor or regular, if using PA, shoot for 2 pieces or more, if using Regular Armor, have 3 minimum)
A high Capacity, high DPS weapon, Plasma Flamer for Rifle-based builds (Rifleman specifically, but if you're Commando you have the SPECIAL already allocated) Flamer, , 50 cal, are good options for Heavy, you really don't want something with a "Wind up" time like a Minigun or gatplas. Melee is a little hosed this fight, for solo.
First Aid perk, Super Stimpaks (Don't bring regular stims ideally, just supers) and some kind of HP buff chem/food for the best chance.
With this setup you can hold all 3 pylons spamming stimpaks, and take virtually no damage from the boss, it all comes down to DPSing before you run out of meds.
The advice is good, but my char is lvl 75. I have a bit of armor here and there (base resist of 400) and some anti faction legendaries (including anti robot). I don't have access to anything else. So there's that. "investing" in this is a no go. I rather go do something useful with my time.
My build is a melee build, but that didn't work so I switched to the Final Word, but I only have the one heavy gunner perk so I was doing like 40 damage per hit on the boss with this thing.
