At what point in the game can I finally get a jet pack to use?

Can't seem to build one anywhere, despite having the plans, but also not sure i'd have the right armor to put it on.

What price does a jetpack armor go for? Not sure I've seen any being sold where I've been to look.

That really depends. If your non Power Armor, not till you complete the Gold Heist Mission and then get enough gold to not only buy the Secret Service Armor Chest Piece, but also the Jetpack mod for it(Chest can have Jetpack and Buttress Upgrade)

Power Armor, that just depends if you can find the recipe for the PA Type you have(Example Raiders or T-45, etc.) And then materials and proper cards unlocked to modify the chest piece for it.

I've got several Power Armor Jetpack Plans for sale in my machine and am on right now. Most of them are cheap.

PA jetpack plans can be bought from the Whitespring vendors. Each vendor has a full set of specific PA mod plans

getting the plans is easy. building the actual jet pack is a bunch of materials you need to get from nuke zones pr player vendors. and once a jet pack is built thats it. it cannot be moved to another chest piece. like t 51 to t 65. each pa ahs its own jet pack. and then there are jet pack skins that for some reason cost as much as a jetpack to build. having a jet pack is a game changer and gives a player a jump up on non jet pack users.
secret service jet pack now thats my jam. dont have to wear a power armor and retain all my SS armor legendary and other stats? yes please.

As above, I have plans for both t 51b and t 60, BUT not the materials to make them.. violet and cobalt flux I believe. Being not one to do the events and all to get them, (flux's), just by chance I came across a private vendor who had plenty.. cost me about 10 k caps to get enough to make 2 jetpacks.. was well worth it imo.

If you can wait a bit, you get flux when the Scorched Beast Queen dies. You don't have to waste a bunch of ammunition, you just have to attend. You can just sit there in Chinese Stealth Armor and pretty much nothing will attack you except maybe ants. Just collect that for about 5- 10 times and you will have the flux for a jet pack.
