Ingame Way to Increase Stash?
Is there a perk or something, or is it fully locked behind a Fallout 1st subscription?

Stash weight is the same for everyone.

There are perks that reduce the weight of things you are personally carrying, but those perks do not transfer to items in your stash.

Note, if you use the perks to max out and carry more stuff, be sure to store your junk and carry your weapons, aid, ammo, armor, etc. When you die, you won't drop as much.

The only way to gain increased storage is with the FO1st Scrap Box which allows you to move all your junk from your Stash to it.

yep only the bottomless scrap box is with 1st but you still get 1200 stash
they should add extra chests like eso does for houses for inside ya shelter thats instanced and prob wouldnt strain the servers that way
maybe thats a thing for the future :VBCOOL:

i know its a pain at 1st but you will learn to manage that generous 1200 stash limit
we had to cope with 400 early on so ya lucky its 1200 now :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:

Stash size is the same for everyone, there is no improving that until Bethesda increases the number. Fallout 1st does have the advantage of a Scrap box in which scrap doesn't have a weight though.

You can make a mule character for stuff you don't use but want to keep. Although transferring items between characters requires either help from a friend, 1st subscription or second account. It's possible to use public teams to get back on same server after switching toons but that's always risky.

yeah I remember those days. Terrible. 1200 is fine. Honestly though it's not going to be enough, you could make an entire mini game just collecting junk all day.

Also, we didn't have backpacks and vendor bots had 120 caps or something each. Oh the hours of waddling around encumbered just to get enough caps to buy plans for handmade or calibrated shock mods/plans. :P

nothing is fully locked behind anything. we started with 400 units of storage, they doubled that to 800, now its 1200. stop picking up things you wont use or dont need. especially weapons and armors YOU think are the bees knees. they aint. youll get better stuff when you level up.
create a problem for player, make the player pay money to solve it.

ez money

1200 is a huge limit, just learn to manage your stuff, sell surplus materials you have (no, you arent going to need 3k steel)

It really isn't. I'm always close or maxed out, I don't use it for Scrap(Fallout 1st). But Legendary Mods, Misc stuff stacks up(Gunpowder or whatnot). I also keep a good selection of Apparel for when I want to swap out a look for the week or so

If you want to make ammo.. you're going to want 3k steel.. and heaps of gunpowder+lead.. and that is a lot of weight. Unless you're super caps rich and can afford 1:1 caps for ammo at players vendor shops lmao.
PocketYoda 15/out./2021 às 17:24
Yeah its terrible should have been 5000..

No the option shouldn't be manage a tiny amount or else.. and yes it was even worse at release but that doesn't make it better today.
