Something needs to be done about plans/recipes.
Add some sort of separate storage for them or make them weightless. I have way too many and I can't sell them fast enough, but I don't want to drop them either because a lot of them are worth caps.

Just because they are worth something to somebody, somewhere, does not mean they are worth the inventory space forever.
FR@NK Jan 26, 2021 @ 9:13am
They arent worth as much as you think...just dump them.
mr.devolver Jan 26, 2021 @ 9:27am
Any items you want to sell only have a value if there is demand for them.

Dump them at Vault 76 for newcomers.
:VBCOOL:

Are your prices high? If you just can't bring yourself to dump them, set pricing to move items fast, not for what you can eventually sell them.

This is what I do, I find a player between lvl 20-40 and dump all the non selling plans on them at their camp. Need a full set of Ultracite power armor, no problem. Need a trash can, lamps and a stove i got u fam.

Honestly, I'm selling some plans and recipes myself, my prices are always lower than the default price and they still don't sell fast enough. I figured it must be simply because people are not really interested in said items in the first place.

Yeah, I usually sell common camp building ones for about 10 caps and I do get buyers, but dump some when I end up with too many. Mostly I carry them to help people out. Common armor plans I sell for 15-75, unless they are TOO easy to acquire--then I just dump. Even Ultracite armor plans I sell for 25 caps, 50 to 75 caps for mod plans. Easy caps. Harder to find recipes keep and sell 10 caps, dump rest as too easy to find in world. Black Berry Honey Crisp plan 500 caps, because I can. :) Grenades any kind, yep, 10 to 15 caps.

Some hard to find plans I charge much more (weapons plans-depending), but all that easy stuff is being sold for way too much. I laugh when I see common stuff for 50 to 150 caps, sometimes more. No low level player can afford that pricing, and common plans are what they are looking for at that point. I started a new character recently and have to pass on easy to find plans because 50 caps is just too high for me when I've only managed to acquire 200 caps. I don't need that milk machine that bad. There is a market for it, but recognize who is buying.

Also, all ammo 1 cap per, fusion cores 50 to 60 caps, plasma cores 40 caps. Dump crap ammo.

SELL THEM CHEAPER THEN YOU GREEDY BOY I sell plans from 10 to 100 caps only autogrenade launcher plans and such will sell for 250 caps or less, REMEMBER some plans every one get fast so you can really sell like crafting table planes every one got thos plans or just drop of plans for new players, at some points you will just have to drop stuff because you can't carry everything

if you are not selling it's because you prices are to high

fusion cores are free at every powerplant so that you are able to sell something that people can get for free buggles my minde

I carry a few of them, because I can sell them. Probably my slowest mover, I will admit.

Love how everyone assumes i sell them for high prices. I sell everything under except rare plans you get from events or daily ops. I still have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Throw them away, just like other low-value junk. I dump all of my garbage into a suitcase at a train station next to the vendor bot.

I know that you are not quoting me directly, but just so you know I wan't assuming, I asked if you were so that you might take a look at your prices if you didn't want to dump them.

I'm saying this just in case I was being lumped into that comment.

The pricing guide I stated was for the discussion at large, not just you. Sorry if it came off rude, either way.

Yeah, plans are not worth as much as you think. Except the super rare stuff, it is all worthless really.

I've decreased the price of all of them (bar some rare ones) to somewhere between 1 and 40 caps. Weapons, armor, armor mods plans etc. for 10 caps and I still only get a sale once a day perhaps. Even stuff like weightless marine armor or deep-pocketed, which is pretty good.

Do yourself a favour and dump them at the Wayward.

By the way: all ultracite armor plans are absolute trash. Nobody is going to buy them ever. You shouldn't even be picking those up unless it is to learn them.
