Hornwright Safe Room Access Card

First I have tried this quest a few times and only missing the safe room key.

After getting on the elevator going down to the safe room I find I need the safe room gate access card. I get back into the elevator and the icon is on the second/ground floor button. So I press the button exit the elevator on said floor and the arrow/distance meter is telling me to go up. I cannot find anyway to go up from the ground level without using the elevator.

What am I missing?

try get out of the build with fast travel to some place then check map if the point update ..maybe a bug i have something like that in past in another mission

The waypoint is bugged, go to the top floor and look for the room withPenelope's terminal and use it, it will advance the quest.

Ahh I had taken my hacker perks out coupla days ago and was ignoring terminals

Well I really hate not doing this on my own I'm stuck again. I have tried once again a few times but I cannot find the Robobrain interpolater. I am at the spot according to the quest line. I have killed the the robobrain bots and searched the area. I see a door but have no access. I have searched the entire area but am stumped and wasting ammo. What am I missing? again Do I need to enter from the research center?

You need to hover over the body of the robobrain and press " Space " to collect the item needed, it isn't an item you get from their inventory.

I validated integrity of game files, restarted game and now the quest has resumed. Will be glad when this buggy beeahch quest is finished.
