Where to farm radium rifles?

Nowhere to farm. They are completly random.

Crafting is your best option, by far.

It's too rare to rely on drops.

As other have said there is no place to farm radium rifles. The only truly reliable way to get them is to craft them. Make sure to equip super duper when you do.

They do Ballistic damage. They work just fine against enemies immune to Radiation.

Just be aware they have a different mod learn chance from scrapping, they use armour chance which is lower than weapons.

To get the useful mods requires hundreds, craft with Science (expert and master) perks in intelligence with super duper.

OK, I left it. Just wanted to find a more legitimate sniper tool, out of gauss. Unfortunately good weapons has no scope/silencer (plasma caster, black powder rifle), or which it has, thats base damage output are poor (rifles in general)

Try a lever-action rifle. It is next best after Gauss. Radium rifles, Fixers, and handmade are not that great of a sniper.

Scopes will increase vats cost, though. It is better to have reflex sight + Concentrated fire for headshots than aim for a prolonged period of time through a scope.

Handmade are bad for this, yes. Also laser rifle and hunting/sniper rifles poor. Syringer would be nice however with better base damage beside the bleeder mod.
I have cocncentrated fire, sniper and a few other rifle-related cards Just the weapon missing for the job.

Radium wouldn't be that good for a sniper. The recoil is comparable to a combat rifle, the weapon itself is fun and not that bad but definitely not worth that special grind. It's more of an end-game goal when you run out of more serious things to do.

With that said, I ran out of things to spend caps on a few hundred levels ago, so I like buying them from raider vendors. With low charisma, it's around 300 caps each for unmodded radium rifles. Probably cheaper if you bulk buy all the resources to craft them, but I can't be bothered that much and I like burning the caps without having to worry about carrying so much junk around and finding the right ratios. They won't always have them, but the raider vendors generally have like 6-10 copies of 2 different weapons, and one of those weapons is potentially a radium rifle

I ran out of meaningful things to do,(quests, weapon/plans I desperately wants) like half a year ago. :-)
Except maybe a few tadpole/possum things thats left.
I dont have much parts unlocked for radium, so I will check the bots plus craft the weapon for them. Though I stick with hard bargain+grape mentat combo for purchase and dont raise the CHAR. points any higher.
