is this game worth playing in 2021 ?

i've been wanting to get into a different game for a while now. i've been getting bored of playing the same fps games over and over and i feel like a change is needed. i first played 76 on launch day on ps4 and couldn't get any enjoyment out of it and completely dropped it and now i keep seeing positive things about the current state of 76 recently and how it's supposedly a much better game so basically i would like to know if its worth spending my money to try this game again and who better to ask this question than the community themselves.

I had the same feeling as you when i first bought it. Now I have almost 100 hours in Fo76. Definitely does not feel like Fallout 4 since they have to balance the game for multiplayer. Though it has a lot of quests and locations to explore to keep you entertained for hundreds of hours. if you are the type that enjoyed following the lore then there is plenty in this game (I however skip a lot of dialogue so im missing out lol). You get 3 different storylines to play and those missions tend to be the juicy content. I see that late game tends to be a lot of grinding. Mostly grinding for an endgame currency and to flesh out your build.
