My world is peaceful and quiet and I can do whatever I want Solo, it's the best.
edit: i have to add a nice experience to balance the toxic mess fo76 voip is.
morgantown station character standing at the vendor bot. as i came across the airport from the dam, you could hear what can only be a dad talking to a real young one prolly in his lap, little boy voice saying wuts dat daddy wuts dat daddy daddy ? wuts dat...
and then the dad saying that is a robot it sells things to us that we need. boolets daddy ? yeah bullets and food, clothes, WALMART ROBOT! *mans hearty laughter* yeah walmart bot. kid: " wallmart bot wallmart bot" dad laughing then female adult voice, "whats going on" and a short explanation and another round of laughter. i didnt have the heart to go past the school bus didnt want to interrupt that wholesome family exchange... so yeah one gem out of 1200 plus hours. there have been plenty of others one asked if my name related to a boy and his dog the book and later movie that was a major influence to the fallout creators. and thats a yes but also mad max who is a man and his dog as well. its a dual reference name lol.
two great encounters with voip in game in so many months and hours... all over the joint all the events seasonal hourlies 99 percent toxicity.
>jumps up in the air spinning in place several times
>crouches up and down repeatedly
>drops you a set of level 1 armor, a level 1 gun, some ammo for it, stimpaks and nuka-colas
>shoots at the paper bag to make sure you see it
>spam crouches a few times after you grab it
>presses <3 emote
>jumps away
<3 Way more good folks than otherwise on this game. Often times giving newbs a good start to the game is all they need for a better experience with the game which results in a pleasant and enjoyable player base. While everyone experiences things in their lives they'd rather not share it is intensely refreshing to not have chat bubbles going (one of my largest aversions to online gaming) and the option to communicate being a personal one is also wonderful in allowing a fantastic level of anonymity for those seeking it. I will admit, it would be nice if you didn't have to chase the newbs down as they fled in abject terrified ignorance, however...
Are you me?
