Well, Fallout 76 is a dynamic game and things might change. I don't trust Google! I trust the players!

player shops. Often can find someone selling hundreds for 3 caps or so. I buy em all the time in bulk

Nothing wrong with that info. I would tell you basically the same as that article. Don't need screws as I have plenty, but for me it's wendigo's.

Also if you have caps look for players selling junk. Small amounts could likely be fluxes, but large amounts usually will include screws.

Oh my, the article also mentions the Wendigo Cave... that place freaked me out when I was on level 30.

Best place to farm would be Monongah Mine and focus on the Wendigo Spawns. A default farming session should give 200-300 screws. In a good run I was able to get 500 screws.

I also sell them(along with other junk). I have almost 6k spare screws. :brownchicken:

Earle is hands down the best

His wendigo drop tons of screws, acid, and ammo (iirc 33% chance to drop ammo for your gun (well ultracite .45 and regular .45) and you get 35-50 rounds each time... which if you farm them hard you can get a TON of ammo from (better than doing explosive raider daily ops by a slim margin)

Earle? The NPC Earle Williams in Monongah Mine?

Yeah its a terrible fight in terms of actual rewards

hes a bullet sponge, his zone is limited to 8 people, his rewards are medicore for completion, but his adds... his sweet sweet adds... They make it worthwhile to visit him every now and then

Acid and screws all day. If you get the right people in your instance you can really take your time and farm it.

I do actually enjoy the fight. :brownchicken:

I don't care how people think about that he's boring or the rewards are "bad" (which is subjective anyway). At least he isn't that easily wreckable like the Queen or the Assaultron Sheepsquatch, which can be dead in literal seconds.

Earle can be brought down in about 15 seconds with a team of 8 fully legit players
Terminator01 Mar 1, 2021 @ 8:02pm
Then luckily I didn't encounter those. :brownchicken:

A quick question: I can only enter the Monongah Mine during A Colossal Problem, right?
