Which barrel for Minigun

Hello

I´m asking myself which barrel for the Minigun would be best. I currently have one with Anti-Armor, explosive ammo and 90% less weight, but I can´t really decide what barrel I should choose. The Tri barrel looks most badass to me, but feels really weak overall. The faster barrel feels better, but has terrible range. Never tried the prime barrel, because I´m not sure about the ultracite ammo (can craft it without any problems). Currently using the default barrel, because a friend told me, it´s the best for that.

Accelerated Barrel is a trap.

Either use the Tri-Barrel or the Prime Barrel. Daily Ops can covered ultracite ammo usage, but the Tri-Barrel has great ammo efficiency.

I just feel like that the Tri Barrel doesn´t do damage fast enough.

i carry a explosice prime an a vampire with standard ammo both with default barrels, the prime will put down a standard scourch beast no problem the other keeps me alive, once you get used to makeing prime ammo an learn how to stock up on what you need it is very easy to make, just have fun with it. sorry for the spelling.

Accelerated barrel or prime barrel, we have ammo factory now. Ammo is not a problem anymore.

For ammo efficiency go gatling gun instead.

Oh, I do. When I do my Daily Ops or help friends with that, i use that to farm me some ammo. I use like 250 when I´m efficient, but I get 2k - 3k back.

Had a buddy a year or so ago.
Ran an all Minigun toon.
He had 3 Miniguns, each 3 star.
A Standard Barrel for long range combat.
A Tri-Barrel for general work.
Accelerated Barrel for when things were right up in his face.
A SBQ Fight would go something like this:
Cripple the SBQ Wings with the Standard Barrel to force her to land.
Switch to the Tri-Barrel and open fire as you approach.
Switch to the Accelerated Barrel when you are just a few feet away and watch her melt.
Clean up the Adds with the Tri-Barrel.
Of course, he needed like 4 other toons doing assorted Daily and Event missions to feed him enough Scrap and Caps to keep those things fed.

We don't call anybody in a video game a Cartoon, so why do we call our Characters Toons?


I can't ever think of a single time somebody said "yeah remember that Toon from Kingdom Hearts, or Remember that Toon from Serious Sam?"


Just doesn't fit in well at all.

Its Because of the ToonTown mmo.

Well, at least in my personal experience, it's a sort of informal scale of how invested in a character you are. It's nothing I've ever seen anybody write or talk about much, more usage I've seen over time.
A "Character" is one you are highly invested in, personally.
A "Main" is one you are highly invested in time wise.
A "Toon" is one you mostly made for a theme or entertainment value.
An "Alt" is a character you are not heavily invested in, either personally or time wise.
