First i was like, naah, that gotta be random luck. Then my game didn´t start and because i am lazy i tried closing the browser before checking for direct X and netframework updates.
And closing the browser did the job. What the actual?
Wich browser do you use? FF for me.
Same FF.
The game uses directx11, windows 10 uses directx12 so files from directx11 will be missing when you have a fresh installed windows 10.
Hey, how's your progress with the game launch? I'm still at a dead end. I received a standard message from Bethesda tech support: update DirectX, Visual C++, remove mods, run a game file integrity check, clear the Steam download cache, check the status of services Bethesda.net live, clear the DNS, check the firewall and / or antivirus, open the game ports, reinstall the game. In short, given that 90% of all these things I did before contacting technical support, and the remaining 10% did not help in any way, I wasted my time.
Fallout 4 had similar problems, but it was because of mods.
disable Antivirus
update DirectX, Visual C++
reinstall/update Graphic Driver
reinstall game
verify Integrity of Game Files
install game on different disk drive
remove mods
clear steam dowonload cache
i dont have MSI afterburner installed
So, I have done a complete fresh install of Windows 10, on a fresh clean SSD. All drivers are bang up to date and BIOS flashed. Minimal software installed.
Yet it is still happening! I am at a loss to be honest and flippin irritated!!
Anyone got anywhere?
